Know what? I called in 933 and got the movie marathon tix yesterday! Hahaha..happy sia..can watch my idol's show, (I think it's premiere..that's why so happy!!!), by Michelle Yeoh and Richie Ren and finally ! Well. I have been waiting to catch the first and third show..hehe..Time will be 17 Jan 12AM - 6AM..no kidding neh! My first time watching midnite show..marathon somemore..haha..dunno can tahan or not..especially scared of going to the Ladies at such late hours..eeriee ehh..haha..
Hopefully will get to see JieQi there again this time (DREAM) LOL...Who else's going? Looking forward to it ^^

1st working week into the new year, a lot of work to do and terribly busy until very tired
Also very caught up with spring-cleaning and decor and groceries shopping for the Chinese New Year...
bbb I also went for a 933 movie marathon before, think about 4 years ago. Mine was even longer, 5 movies at a go for 10 hours non-stop. There was a crap Chinese ghost movie in between, which spoilt the flow lah, and was obvious a lot of people disliked the show and got very distracted haha. The other 4 shows were quite nice esp "Toy Story 2". The other 3 were "Double Jeopardy", "Bone Collector" and "Stuart Little". So quite obvious the Chinese was there to "lan4 yu2 chong1 shu4". Quite shiok actually, everyone started to sit in all kinds of weird positions half-way through. When the shows finally ended, there was a loud applause and everyone walked out with blurry eyes and unsteady steps hehehe...think I'm past that phase liao, too old to hold out through the night hahahaha...
Another blissful JQ afternoon tomorrow

i forgot to tell u all that 933's celebrating their 14 yrs "birthday bash", so there'll be a "jing1 hua2 zai4 xian4" live concert for the whole month of Jan fm 4-5pm, which occupies our fav. dj radio slot.

I think I'm old liao..If not, muz be the Jin Hua Zai Xian that bores me out..I fell alseep consecutively for 3 weeks halfway through the show! Aiyo..Today I heard him play ..after that, I think I fell asleep..woke up, it's already 8 plus..haiz..Last night I din sleep well la..slept at 5am and woke up before 8am..Maybe that's why I was so sleepy.
Yup, I heard him say he will be back only after CNY, so I guess it's 31 Jan lor..Gees..boring CNY! 4 days..how to spend? Hmm..

still checking in and listening in. Was drifting in and out of sleep during the program today. But as far as I recall, he didn't talk much. I miss his letter reading days. The music is of course good but I think he is making less and less comments about the songs he plays. I miss the days when he shares his feelings about the songs he plays too.

Ever since I watched that (Di xia tie)..I love that song that OST..Elva got the chinese version..but i like the other version..dunno what language is that..but very nice..as if I'm floating..how I wish JieQi will use that one as background music or whatsoever..very nice..listening to it now.

I personally find Elva's "Di Xia Tie" for the movie not as heartfelt as her "Ye" for the movie which is so much nicer. Frankly, I feel her new songs are becoming "run out of the mill", no longer the kind I feel for like "Qiang Wei", "Chuang Wai De Tian Qi", "Tian Shi Zhan Shi Li Kai", "Zui Shu Xi De Mo Sheng Ren", "Wen", etc. The same way I felt towards A*Mei's songs too...bbb I think the original "Di Xia Tie" should be Jap?
I quite like Zhang Jing Xuan's "Duan Dian" which make me feel like buying his album. bbb: is the album nice? Must be unbiased hoh hahaha...
It will be CNY next week. Ya, I hate the visiting part too, but I enjoy the tidbits munching part Be buying a lot of pineapple tarts, and I only eat the Malaysian brand "Seasons", because I really like them! Much nicer than even Bengawan Solo heheheh...oops...

there isnt much preparation for cny, for me, coz i'm still tinking of going away for it, hahaa, juz can't stand being ard, the visiting
etc...anyway, the new yr goodies are available all yr round.....i juz dun understand why pple go n Q for hours for something which is easily available at other times.........*shrugz*
was at chinatown last nite, coz got fren wanna visit there, but wah lau, after 10 min walk, i surrender....really buay tahan, so crowded, can't even see anything properly, then the aunties, the kids keep pushing u ard....
i did some cleaning of my room b4 Xmas, but left it 1/2 done, now it's all messed up again, i guess i clean up after cny lah.... lol
i was at the same movie marathon hajime went, ya lah, till now i still can rem tat stoooooooopid internet ghost story....dun even know who the actors/actresses were; tink tat movie made us so bored we keep falling asleep, and it became colder in the theatre bcoz some pple left oredi...so we were trying to cuddle in the small seat, eventually, some1 helped us smuggled in hot tea, and we went to drink it at the back of the theatre...quite pathetic, squatting behind, then trying to hide the packet of tea, so tat won't kena chased out...
now, cannot do this oredi lah, feel damn old, dun tink can ton overnite oredi..... haha -

Hahaha...I din buy Zhang Jing Xuan's CD...so i can't comment whether it's nice but I can tell you he really sings very well.. is not the only nice song.. is nice too!
I dunno...I thought that song is Jap or Korean..or some others..Coz I really can't figure out what that person is singing..

As for Chinatown..well, I went and enjoyed myself..very crowded ya...but I was really excited to see those decorations etc..though I hate to see people pushing around and I got lost from my frens twice. Anyway my fren really bought a lot of things lor..then we were also eating as we walked around..I could not win them man..ate till tummy wana burst liao, they still had 2 more plates. We even saw Zheng Ge Ping and Hong Hui Fang + kids. lol -

yaya I still remember the time squatting behind the doors and drinking the packets of hot kopi to beat the cold. Think someone specially drove out to buy them somemore...haha needless to say, we got weird looks from some people who passed through the doors for toilet breaks...
Think hot drinks not allowed inside was because of the smell, remembered someone told me that before. Cold drinks usually no smell, but if hot drinks are inside the theatre, then everyone will smell kopi, teh, milo, etc. Haha, the movie experience will kana affected mah...
That time movie marathon Dasmond Koh was there for 1 or 2 movies and some games, after that he zao liao, left one er xin person still there trying to get attention Ahem. The Bugis Shaw usually quite quiet, think only been there once. Long time no watch movie liao...so out of touch hahaa...but movie marathon is quite fun if the movies are not bad, so enjoy it -

Yuhoo people! The movie marathon last night was not bad..from 12 plus till about 6.10am..almost fell asleep during the last show..! Well, that show is not as good as I expect it to be. Howver, is nice! Quite a comedy..Find Michelle Yeoh cute..haha..and that Richie Ren's 'gala gala shen gong.." hahahaha..really laugh man!
ChongQing was there..and also some 933 crew..Oh ya..there was no order when issuing the admission ticket and also going in the theatre..I got pushed, stepped, knocked..."ouch ouch ouch!" all the way..haiz..
Not bad la..juz the toilet visiting part..It dawned on me, why guys go toilet no need to queue ar? While the ladies really queued from the inside till the seatings of the theatre liao..15 mins break each time..I only went to the Ladies once..heng ar..
It was cold when we left the cinema..The breeze, the sky of stars and moon..very nice feeling..I did not sleep immediately after I reached home..hehe..went to market to buy breakfast for my family and had my favourite chee cheong fun..then went to sleep till 3 plus.. -
That time we went movie marathon quite orderly...think people were more concerned if they brought enough sweaters to last through the night. I don't recall got any seat allocation, but we sat quite front, think 3rd/4th row on the left.
I think US had some survey that females need 3 times as much time for their toilet break as compared to men. I think it's quite obvious why... moreover, some females still need to powder face etc, which add on to the time lor...
Saw a Mayday special on TV. It's a special tribute concert to the Beatles. I know they like Beatles, but no idea they are so into them. There's one part which I was quite touched. Ah Xin mentioned that in an interview, there was a question asking them if they can go back to the past, which day will they choose and why? Masa's reply was 8 Dec, 1980. The date sounded like any normal date to most people, but for Beatles fans, it was the most heartbreaking day ever. John Lennon was shot to death by a fan just outside his home. Masa said he wanted to go back to that day to help Lennon take that shot, so Lennon could still live and write more great songs for the fans. Being a Beatles fan, I was really so touched by this. They even held a concert in the rooftop of a Taipei building singing Beatles songs. This is their special tribute to the great band who also held their last Beatles concert ever on a rooftop just before they split up. Oops, not that Mayday will be like them too lah hehe. Mayday still has a lot of material and potential which I feel can catapult them into one of the best Asian bands, especially when they are getting even more experimental in their recent music records.

think the movie marathon we went last time, pple were Q-ing to regis to go in, we arrived late if not wrong, and ended being one of the last few to enter the theatre, so sat quite infront.....
hee, on the nite of ur movie marathon i was sleeping in the hotel rm....it was quite a gd deal..we requested for a high flr harbour view non smoking rm, but it wasnt avail, so they upgraded us to an executive flr partial harbour view rm, rm was spacious, wif a plasma tv, i was more amazed by the coffee machine in the rm, lol, sounds sua ku, but it was quite fun lah, we invited some frens over on sat afternn, and made kopi & tea for them.... -

Our movie marathon that time 5 movies from I think 10.30pm, by the time finished it's already morning, so we went to foodcourt to get breakfast, and nearly sleeping on our food. Now too old, think also cannot ton night like last time, sad...
Woo, tomorrow CNY eve le, got steamboat!!! My favourite hehee...then perhaps will go Chinatown countdown, got 88 bunches of firecrackers will be lit up at midnight, should be very noisy ba. But will be good experience since never see before hehe...they said will be quite high up so even if you are in Chinatown Point also can see...
How you all spending CNY? Everywhere also closed, now think about it also a bit the sianz...
