Caught Pu Shu version of "Na Xie Hua Er" for a few times these few weeks...really quite like the song. Not very different from Fan Fan's version, in terms of the simple music arrangement, but just like it very much...
Bought another Liu Wen Zheng's compilation...haha, my idol leh, but one of the few who are not responding to the retro fad

didnt go to bk fair eventually, bcoz sat, the spore idols thingy was held at suntec, wanted to avoid tat area......went to watch day after tmr instead...well, was impressed by the effects, but not the plot.....abit kua zhang, illogical parts which i still can't figure out.....
i suppose there're pple here who hvnt watch, so dun tink i'll mention anything else here.. heee
i went to the esplanade lib for a first time, WOW...tat place really class eh...not tat i'm the arty sort of person, juz went to pass some time, i dun fit in there as well, being so noisy most of the times. =P
but hor, really can pass time there eh, bcoz got alot of cds can listen to...hahahhaaha..... -
Library@esplanade is a pretty nice place... the view is great, books have a musical/artistic slant, lots of CDs to listen to... but I think you need to be a premium member to loan the stuff there.
I remember a Saturday afternoon where I sat on the chair there, looking at the sea in the bay with the occassional boat passing by, tuned in to Jieqi's programme... that was bliss.

For those who have watched the Liang Shanbo and Zhu Tingai movie by Wu Qilong and Yang Caini, I suppose you are familiar with the Liangzhu song. If you like that one, you should listen to the orchrestra version of Liangzhu- a violin concerto entitled "The Butterfly Lovers" concerto. Beautiful... SSO performs that once in a while.
Perhaps we could make our first outing an SSO concert?

LoL I not high-class de...occasionally will listen to 92.4 but that is very seldom lah. When in school, Richard Clayderman was the favourite among my friends so will listen a bit, but he abit the commercial lah. But like the instrumental music from certain old movies, eg. Somewhere in Time...
I generally like all kinds of music, except for trance which I can't stand
I listen to Huang Da Wei, Sky Wu, Jeff Chang, 5566...Liu Wen Zheng, Feng Fei Fei, Fei Yu Qing...Beatles, Take That, David Bowie, Pet Shop Boys, Norah Jones, Lisa Ono...not to forget local xinyao as well...etc etc etc...too many too many le...

erm, u mean the esplanade lib, juz listening to those cds in the lib nid to be prem member? but the cd shelves are so open, like bookshelves like tat, can juz take the cds out and put in ur own discman and listen leh...tho i never try lah..........
i tot the idea was like reading a book within the lib premises eh....
i know the video dept needs membership to loan the videos to watch in the lib itself tho..... -

I frequent the Esplanade recently...well the library is really very nice..especially the view to the sea...Never borrowed books before, tho I had been there before..
If you are there in the evening, why not go and sit at the outdoor theatre, watch the live performance and enjoy the fun? Can enjoy the sea breeze too..then was there Shang Yue..haha..so coincidentally it was a full-moon night. Hehe..2 times I went..the 3 actors in yellow ran around giving yellow flowers, throwing silver ribbons into the air and also yellow and white pieces of papers into the air..creating a view like falling leaves...very beautiful..at that moment, you will be thinking 'Wow!!!!..How nice would it be if it were cash falling?"
Tinker, I listened to few classicals before but I think that I still prefer Easy Listening, New Age etc. No Techno...soft rock is ok...accappella, jazz, pop, oldies etc..
Btw, attitude, what is 'crap' music???

I'm not a big fan of JJ...
But anyway heard his new album 2day...this album is definitely better than his debut album especially in terms of production wise...may one to check up this album...it's more polished, sleek and Taiwan. -

She personally chose another track written by "Pan Xie Qing" called "Da Yu Guo Hou". Hope we can hear it on 933 soon.
