I would go out for lunch with him once every 5 times he asked, & he would from time to time tell me about his interest. Even if he didn't tell me, his body language, yan3 shen2 etc gave him away.
I can't even explain why I didn't have any fee1 ling3 towards him, he was a really nice guy, he had those qualities most girls would kill for to have in a bf. But don't like means don't like. He's a nice person, but in the end, I got really scared of him

Some people say that, but that's Not strictly true. If this guy who made me so uncomfortable is a nice guy, then I ended up with a VERY nice guy, who's made my heart sing.
To my guy, would it be a case of nice guys finish last? I don't think so. Because I gave up 1 who was nice, for someone even nicer, albeit without the "qualifications & qualities" most girls find appealing.

Aiyah, when we're in love with someone hor, we'll get the dazed eyes when we're daydreaming about that special someone. But for Da Yang, he just looks so STALKER.

Not necessarily lah. Some guys who used to like me, are friends of mine now. They weren't too pushy (whether explicitly or implicitly) & respected the fact that I didn't feel the same way. They acted the way friends who respect another friend should act.

I'm sorry, I know it sounds really cruel, especially when some posters here are really suffering from a broken heart after being rejected time & again. They vow to love the girl for the rest of their lives & to keep trying.
But what if they're actually making the girls' lives miserable but keeping up the trying? If they really loved the girl, wouldn't they set her free? If they loved the girl & knew that their "trying" is really trying her patience, then shouldn't they stop because it was making her unhappy?
I dunno. As I said, some people believe that this shows their utter devotion. Being more pragmatic, I beg to differ. If you love her, set her free.
