my brother is very... scary sometimes... he can be super depressed on the inside, but on the outside, he can be crapping with you like there's no tomorrow.. in a way, that is a bit like me.. it's as if hor... if he planned suicide in the evening, in the morning nobody will notice anything...
he is so used to keeping everything inside... i dunno how to get to him sometimes...
and hor... can somebody tell me... a diploma in pharmaceutical science can do for a holder?? i think he said something like the cert is rather useless and he sees his future to be bleak cos he dunno what to do after graduation... maybe if i can tell him what prospects are there for him, he will have some hopes at least... -

you don't understand what is happening to your brother you don't understand his passion for games you don't understand the reasons behind his suicidal thoughts you need advice from people in aunt agony on how to deal with your brother

But if 1 day , something *touch wood* were to happen , i will give you a pat on your back and tell you that if you have tried all you could have done , then you would have really been the best sister in the world.

Star, take comfort in the fact that your bro confided in you... this means that he has not totally given up on life yet... talk to him... talk to your common church friends and get them to help.. most importantly is try to find out what's really bothering him...
if after a while and you still see no improvement in his behaviour, outlooks... try and get him to talk to a counsellor... this is quite a serious problem.... but I've been through it before and it's just thoughts never actions...
right now he told you about these thoughts, which is good because if he really wanted to commit suicide, he wont tell anyone, he'll do it quietly... but he told you which is a LOUD cry for help.... so try as hard as you can and console him find out what's wrong and spend as much time with him as you can this is critical. make him feel as loved as possible!!!

We are all the external factors influencing him.
Ultimately it depends on his internal factors within him.
church friends, bible , etc can help only up to a certain extent.
Even a counsellor can't help if the person doesn't want to voice out their problems to him/her.
