i once sent this girl home on a cab, but i didnt really see her in cause we are always bickering and i dont know how to open up to ask to walk her in... so i just stayed in the cab till i watched her enter her door..... still brooding over it... was that act ungentlemanly???

I think the girls should also appreciate the guys for sending them back home too. I think it is an act of kindness by the guys not something that we should do.

From my years of experience, i find majority of girls lacking in social graces to be genuinely appreciative. Even if men do not ask for thanks, we really appreciate it inside when women say thank you genuinely for our actions. Doesn't have to be a call. Sometime,s just a 'thank you. My friend got stalked by the Blangadeshi worker from the bus all the way to her house area... He followed her until near a carpark, then tapped her shoulder. Luckily, a cop was going by, so he asked whether anything was wrong, then she faster siam (cos she's the timid type).
But he still continued to follow her!
She walked past this lady, and the Blanga like go ask the lady for money. She faster tell the lady that the Blanga has been following her, that he's not a good guy... Then i think he heard..faster run off.
So she continued walking... OMG the guy was like still following her!? So she faster walk to a block where there was a lot of people waiting for the lift, then pretend that's where she stay. Then the blanga was like damn confused look, dunno if he should follow... Then he went off.
All this happened in broad daylight Around 5-6pm?
Sigh... I'm damn worried for my friend, cos she's really the timid type...It's a disorder.. She stays pretty near me, so we always take bus to and trom school together... I don't think I would have forgiven myself if something had happened to her...
So guys, don't think daylight they won't try anything funny. Just remember to check up on your girls to see if they safely reach home.
One of the precautions I take is whenever I walk home through my house nearby the carpark (it's pitch dark cos there's no lighting), I'll call one of my friends, or my mum, and talk to them until I reach my house door. So if you're very worried, you can chat on the phone with her. it's a good excuse to chu jing gan qing also -

I think it's gentlemanly for guys to offer, but it's the girl's choice whether to accept or not.. it's more like a comfort level thingy..
i will appreciate it if he offers, but i might not let him send me home. I will also appreciate if he send me a sms asking me am i home safely.. will reply with thanks. Some times if i come home late, i will take the initiative to tell the fren who last seen me that im home liao. -
