I think it is better for you to just forget about it. Do you really want to marry narrow minded people who are judging and condemning you all the time? Can you imagine a life where people are looking at how you behave every minute according to some rules and regulations that they made up?

Always remember something. The bible is still written by humans being. So ppl always like to write what they want... (don't get offended but bible don't just fall from the sky).
My friend's mum is a catholic but she still marry a buddhist. So if she really loves you who cares. 17 too young. Just get over it. If she really loves you then religion don't really matters at all -

honestly, im a christian and if i know that my bf has this seeing is believing belief, i wouldnt even think about going out with him.
Remember, theres surely alot of things in the bible(about Christianity) tat u don understand or cant be proven(like dinosaurs) and lots of things that just isnt logical. Of course!, u know y? cos God is God and our minds r(duh) way simpler and stupider than god. How can we use our limited brains to try and prove the things about God who is our creator and transense time and space. A small experiment can be done ......try to think of Nothingness, absolutely nothing. You cant Rite? cos again our brains r but created by god.
Believe In god and jesus only if you believe, not for the gf.
And as for the part where u said that u feel weird about strangers approching you, well thats becos we christians believe that when we beleve in god, we r all counted as sons of god and r thus brotheres and sisters in a family. Wer all part of the BIG christain family if we beleve in God. So of course theres this fellowship.

One very important question you need to ask yourself is this:
Are you with her because you love her OR are you with her because you love her religion?

Dude.. You and I are so in the same position... just that my GF has a rather understanding mom, and my GF is also insistent that I have to convert to Christianity before marrying her. But I am perhaps in a better position cos her sister married a buddhist husband too.. very complicated event.. very awkward one too.. but at least my GF can look to that as a way out too. For your case.. if the relationship is not too deep yet.. let go when you still can. For me.. it's 4 years next month.. so I'll just have to let things happen on their own.

if she goes, shes not attracted to u enough. and she, or her mom, is going to the wrong church.

So I'm really feeling very depressed now. What should I do? I really don't know what to do as I am a strong believer of "seeing is believing". I also tried going to the church but I don't think it is suitable for me. Just feels wierd going there, especially when many strangers come and talk to me.
Really hope people here would be able to advise me on what to do! Should I even try going to the church again and make myself believe in it? (Although I know that at first the main reason for going will be because of her and not because of the religion itself). Or should I just continue to believe in my own things but have the risk of losing her?

I wouldn't suggest forcing yourself to go church. This is most unbiblical. Sure, you can find out more about Christianity, which I suggest you do. If you can match her "wavelength", then it makes things easier too. Didn't Sun Tzu say know yourself and know others, you win all battles?
