There are verses not suporting marriage between Christians and non Christians, so Ristar is very much mistaken.

You have to be really careful...it may still backfire if she questions your sincerity in becoming a Christian. It's much more ideal if your faith comes from within yourself.
Meanwhile, you may want to ask yourself/her a few questions:
Do you see facets which you've heard about God in her?
Does she inspire you to find out more about her religion?
She's already given her criterion, but exactly what makes her stay with you instead of ending it there and then?
Depending on how patient you are, you may elect to:
- terminate the relationship with her and free yourselves up to find mroe suitable partners, or
- keep the status quo and
(a) enjoy the relationship while it lasts

Quoting verses will only get reactions and counter quotation. What's the point? I believe i've been lenient to only edit the Verse part and let your statement sustain in this topic.

Religious comments which are easily steered towards religious discussion and debates.
Then again, it's easy to close a topic...only at the expense of threadstarter.
Shall we agree that relationship & religion(esp christianity) is a touchy issue and shall be thread carefully?

For the sake of the threadstarter, the mod cannot have wishy washy definition of the term 'religious comments' so as to 'help' the threadstarter sift objective views from religious comments.
Religious comments does not neccessarily mean verses exclusively, and as far as I can see, despite two warnings, other forumers have continued doing so, including
a)a challenge to churn out a verses or two to
b) terms insinuating the mother might have been mistaken about her faith
c) telling someone else Catholics and Christians are two different people
d) a personal statement on the Bible, a description of the Christian fellowship, a statement exhorting topicstarter to believe in Jesus, not for the gf
Want me to name some more?

About Kuali baba, I thought he gave quite a reasonable advice to threadstarter.
I respect the fact that he did not challenge the faith of threadstarter's gf, nor attempt arouse any wrath of other forumers.
Do we agree that Kuali's post was meant especially for technoboy and will in turn lead him to think deeper about his decisions? I personally think he've placed his post in a good light. And benefit of doubt was given(by me).

Wishy Washy? This is AA...i wouldn't call it wishy washy. It all depends on how you look at it. I'd wish for you to contribute regularly in AA and we'll see how it goes?

Why date? Why get to know each other better? Might as well everybody simply pick each other out in a parade and go straight to the ROM.
The whole point of dating is to find out about these types of problems. Now that you know there is this problem, then get out fast.
It is only 3 months and you have so much problem breaking up with her.
Tell her that you do not mind her being a Christian and if she respect your personal beliefs, then the two of you can continue. If not, you have to break up.
If you tell her that you do not mind; then what that means is that, you do not mind her going to church and leaving you alone... or worse, she insist that you go with her.
If you tell her that you do not mind; then what that means is that, she will want your children to go to church with her... or worse, your children end up wondering why daddy is "like that one?"
So my advice to you is to find a girl who has the same mind as you in important matters. -

'Both having the same kind of thinking'? More like hers.
I just dun understand why when people want a 'third party of sort' to go thru life to solve their problems.
Why can't draw cause-effect diagrams, FMEA, DOE, consult someone real etc.. put in some real actions, effort & get the problem solved?
