Depends on how well you understand your friend and depends on how much you think of this husband that your friend married I guess. Was he chasing you to HUNT you down or was he chasing you to explain the situation after he realised what a bad mistake it was? Cos I think if he really wanted to chase you down, he probably would have caught you.
All men think with their dicks sometimes. And some men end up thinking with ONLY their dicks occasionally. Its stupid but it doesnt necessarily make them bad men.
It would be a pity to tell her this, end up she refuse to believe you (for face), wreck the friendship between the two of you, and because of growing distrust, end up in a slowly breaking down marriage without a good friend to stand by her. This is worst case scenario of course. Cos chances are, if he confesses, he would claim he was drunk - and the awkwardness is just going to strain the friendship between you and her anyway. -

In life, there is more to it than what is right and what is wrong, what is fair and what is unfair. Who says life is fair? Who says what is right would be good for everyone? If that is the case, life would be so much easier.

If you're the person involved, i hope you'll reconsider your decision.
And whatever choice that one makes, he/she have to bear the responsibility.
It is best and most easy to see it in a perspective of righteousness.
But in actual life, most people prefer to not see the truth. Or 'what is truth might turn against you'
blu_sky is considering a win-win solution, the least she could do is not play a victim neither a marriage breaker.

Lesson learn..
Try to avoid clubbing people,avoid people who can drink well.
Usually those who can drink and club rugged people. Can easily associate with a lot of unpleasant things.
Last thing got a group of colleague who can drink well. Usually they will end up with speeding problem,fighting,betrayal,overspend as a result of drinking,gambling,taking drugs and extra marital affair. I will say they are morally downright. Guys or gals,they r all the same.
I not trying to stereotype. But this is my experience. After i left my previous workplace. I avoid this type of people. I stick with my secondary friends who don't like drink,don't like clubbing and I always believe i am far from unlawful problems and these kind of unpleasant incident mention by thread starter!
I will say,not all but people who can drink and like to drink usually will bring a lot of social problem.... -
