Personally, I am on your side. Like you said, sweet persuasion(whatever that means) should be the way. Assuming the man wants to do something funny under the pretext of being drunk, I despise him. He could have been targetting her for a few years. I re-read the post. The way the story is being told, sounds like the man sure knows what he is doing.
We, as men of honour and civilised men, shall not act on impulse.
If need be, a police report shall suffice, in the worst case scenario. A stern warning, I feel, maybe from the boyfriend, is good in this situation.

Loss and death? My mum passed away in February, and I've probably encountered much more than you think I have.
Being fed? Sorry, I'm working part time, daily, just so that I can feed myself, and get myself enough money for Poly. I don't even get pocket money now, though I wish I still do.
CPF? I do have it, but it's so little it's pitiful to even mention (since I've only worked one month).
Driving license, once again, goes into the legal age thing. But what the hell does driving license has got to do with maturity?
