  To me, statistics are just to satisfy the curiousity in the people. With no proper preperation for a new life and the ability to hold responsible for it will warrant a higher chance of divorce if wedded in a huff.

  Thats seems to me more like attention gotten and enjoying the company. It doesn't seems to equate to happiness or joy. Even alone, joy and happiness can be found.

  Attention gotten is good for the ego. It is external. Temporary happiness. You need to depend on it continuously. True happiness comes from within.

  Yes it is. Unfortunately many guys (including mee... ) have the tendancy to indulge a little (at best a little) in attention seeking and getting the ego going. Its not easy to take note of the egoistic and proud nature in these guys.
