Shade, no nice guy would ever agree to borrow money from girls to go on a trip with them. Spineless..... There's a hidden agenda there..... Maybe the guy is interested in the other girl but still its a risk. I've been on an overseas trip with a guy and a girl (three of us too) and at the end of the trip, those two got together as a couple (the girl ditched her then bf after the trip). Honestly, some of you are just laying up unneccessary fears. Although I do agree the guy shouldn't be borrowing money if he can't go. But we need to know the full picture, might be because TS's girlfriend went to collect the tickets first, and at that point, the guy didn't have the money yet.
