Because his only explanation for not commiting suicide is just "because life is precious ", and when asked for a reason he couldn't give any? I am sorry to dissappoint you Cartman, your assumptions are your source of motivation to anger and to agitate others to respond to you.
unfortunately in this case, despite of how you may precieve intentions or motivations of others, the attention seeker is you.
Much of my reasons for not responding to your "postings" was due to my own experiences as a violent and angry person not too long ago. No, i did not find god or Nirvana but merely come to my self conclusion that amoung many other factors in life, much of it is simply actions and consequences.
Have i been in depression before? Yes i have. Have i though of ending it all before? since i was Seven years old. Did i need to explain myself? No i didnt.
Why am i writing all these? because i believe it to be worthwhile if not to make a difference.
Life is Precious for many different reasons for many different people as pointed out by many other forumers. There is no win or lose in this disscussion. Either you agree or disagree, your opinion is yours. If you feel you need help and am willing to seek it, start your own thread.
As i mentioned before, it is pointless to teach if one is unwilling to learn just as pills are useless to the sick who refuse to take them. Take what you want away from these words. I can only hope you can realise the importance of your actions impacting the lives around you and that of your own.

And I think what the TS referred to as 'depressed' was more in a layman's term but not from a professional's stand.

I agree that those people who are really suicidal probably won't be able to think for themselves at those points... His article acts as a form of ENCOURAGEMENT and 'push for balance' for those who are more sober with a milder suicidal tendency... It's sort of like a '1st line of defence'...? It also helps in ENHANCING a normal sober person's psychological DEFENCE... Should anything happens which might slowly push them to a higher stress or 'suicidal' level... At least they can better think and be aware of what might be happening to themselves.. And to maintain a more positive outlook to life. -
Cystaire had something to say, but because TS was pulling out the "authority " card Cystaire decided to just end his stand with 2 haiz. MC+square kinda supported him too, but probably didn't want to offend too many people. The problem with most people is that they don't usually help the lone guy. They want to see how the lone guy defeats everyone and then they learn how he does it. And they want to die. What MCSquare spoke up for, I too sort of agreed with. Though I can't be exactly sure what's his stand for now. I disagree that MCSquare didn't wanna offend too many people. In fact if you know him well enough, he's really someone who ain't really afraid to offend people. It's just more like his habit of coming and going from time to time...?
My point is that there's no point to be so critical as to poke the TS with a needle here. It's not as if he's saying this is a SOLUTION for the DEPRESSED... It's really more like a form of MOTIVATION...?
