as your gf is now angry, it means she cares.
I bet she feels betrayed that you will do that with someone else.
Now, I am not asking you to do it with her instead.
Let your GF calm down, and then call her and talk to her.
Tell her that she is the real thing you concerned about
and what you did was a mistake and you will never do it again.
Tell her, you try to be honest but you have incurred her wrath instead.
However, tell her that in a relationship, there are always up and downs.
And from this, you know the true value of GF in your heart, and you won't do anything hasty again. Tell her, you also need her support to get rid of this.
