Such that 160 and 170 is actually quite a big difference? -
Why bother to be depressed over choice of JC? Any JC is the same and you end up having to take A Levels anyway. LSAT scores range from 120 to 180 with an increment of 1 (instead of increments of 10 for the SAT scale which ranges from 200 to 800). Needless to say, the bulk of those offered admission to the top law schools (by that, I mean the Harvards and Yales) score well in the 160's at the very least. Then again, LSAT's aren't everything even for the top law schools, but don't expect to get into Harvard or Yale with a score of 120 unless you have Bush for a family name.
Anyway, I'm sure you'd be starting another threat lamenting your depression when the time comes for you to go to law school, no? -

if im not wrong...AC peeps are good at GP..don't forget...AC churns out president scholars also..its a good place to build up your network..you never know who is the next president scholar they will churn out...
and really...if you get into AC...look forward to studying in AC...you might like the AC culture...its just like why VJC, TJC & AC are so popular...even RJC may not be as popular...think about it...its not the ranking that looks appealing to our peers...its what substance the JCs have...eg YJC has free subject combos..VJC has the VJC spirit and the peeps there love school...SAJC's methodist culture in full force..etc etc
also think about this before you submit your appeal...would you like an elitist school that is so bloody strict and rigid and regimental although it produces top results? or would you like a school that promises more freedom and produces a little-less-than top results? are you more inclined to work hard and play none or work hard and play hard? even if you have top results, can you maintain your edge in the working world later in life? just what do you want to make out of your life?
ACJC is a nice JC...or it won't be so popular among st nicks, PLMGS, st margarets', CHIJ, SCGS, cresent girls' etc etc...ya gotta think out of the box...
and to debunk the urban myth...ACJC is NOT entirely rich men's world.
chances are...i will be your schoolmate if you get posted to AC... -

what is keeping you from staying in your current jc?
is it really worth it to drop all the friendships and relations you have forged? is it worth it to forgo all those experiences you've had? are you aware of the challenges of trying to mix into a totally foreign environment... especially since you are a 2nd intaker?
