I frm NYP SCL also. I had nv in my life wore my lanyard around my neck, and i nv got fined. Ts is MB or CPT? I am frm CPT. Finished year 3 last year though. I heard tat CPT people no need wear but MB need wear bcos the lecturers want to differentiate between CPT students and MB students. The new SCL courses i dunno.

Another thing is tat the south canteen lecturers sit at the staff area. So next time u want to do this sit far far away frm the staff area and dun sit at the tables facing the stalls. Best is ta bao go up tutorial room eat, enjoy air-con. -

think they want to even differentiate more between the new SCL course and both CPT/MB students..

Am shock to see ppl getting fine $10 for not wearing lanyard.... I mean maybe $1 is STILL ok la , but $10 leh. Wtf loh.... Anw... i think ur frens can just tell the lecturer straight in the face , ask him/her go catch everyone in south canteen who never wear lanyard , den fine you all. I'm sure he comfirm lanlan nth to say one loh. This kind of thing must be fair ma , why should you all be the one getting punished only? If he know you all , den suay loh if not can just ignore him lah... I think is bully year one people lah.

but first, approach ur sch's director.
is it within the sch rule dat U muz wear and fined $10 dollars if u did not wear?
if nt within the sch rule, den get ur 10 bucks back, n further complain to moe dat lecturers are taking money from student. report to TNP, qian xian zui zhong, STOMP and dun forget, report back to sgforum.
if it is within the sch rule dat u muz wear, den too bad, i will laugh at ur sch for such STUPID RULE!
i think is nyp bah. from wad i noe, NP dun have, or rather, sch rules doesnt hav anything on lanyard.
anyway, if i were u, i will say i no money. coz sometimes i dun bring more den 5 bucks to sch -
How come lecturers kena do this kind of sai kang.... NYP really cheapskate siah... ask the lecturers to seek better paymasters.
