think about it......u are not paying to use this forum (aside from premier members)....mods are regular human beings with a life outside.....
they agree and committed to spend time to share their tots with this community.....with addon responsibilities of maintain order
to reiterate, mod is not paid......
if u trust this forum to even pour ur sob stories to, then it's your own responsiblity to choose whether to heed or not heed the advices given....whether by mod or not
this is not a a mail-in aunt agony where oni 1 (or 2) ppl reads your SOS letter to offer a personalised reply.......
if u allow the general public to read your story, then be prepared to get responses from all over.....whether professional or not.... -

wah lau, choosing a mod, for AA is so hard, meh, it is not as if, we are choosing for the president, whoever it is deem suitable, let he or she be the mod, and see how it goes
heck, i doubt, whoever in the future, be appointed as the mod, have any experience in giving advice, most of the thread, are just, question, that have been asked X2321043254387590348 times,
so what exactly, a mod, does, beside locking the thread, if he/she deem it as unfit for the forum. Ultimately, it is up to the discretion of the mod, to determine whether is this thread, suitable for this forum or not, if i want to seek advice, i could post at anywhere in the forum, just because this is AA, doesn't mean that it is the 'only' place to seek advice
Not all the time, a mod, can give the best advice all the time, and as long they are politically correct, i am sure they will do fine
this is what a moderator means,
A moderator is a person who watched an internet message board system and deletes posts that break the rules, and lock threads and such.
I don't know what is so hard in appointing a mod, -
