You need to take the initiative to set things back to normal.
Just behave like nothing happened.
Be the same as you have always been before the confession.
When you see her, say hi and smile.
When you are around her, be friendly, not awkward.
If she is still avoiding you.
You can send her a message like,
" I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable about the confession.
Just being honest with myself. I do hope we can be friends again like before.
I miss your friendship. Exams coming, all the best !"
Soon she will feel less intimidated, and go back to her normal self again. -

when one guy still cares damn alot if the girl will treat him as friend is because the guy still loves the girl a lot.He can't bare to be in a miserable situation where the girl refuses to reciprocate the so called "friendship" but in fact its love.

If you are still new to r/s, start learning. It's ok to fail, i made the same mistakes before.. we all did. But it's very simple.. when u first meet a new girl, quickly think how u gonna treat this girl.. whether u like her only as frens, or something more.. Coz once u go down 1 path, it's hard to swtich to another down the road.
Ur problem is u've been to friendly with her for too long. Too buddy. 1 yr man. Her view of u is already cast in stone. Telling her u like actually disrupts the social interaction betw u 2, that's why u 2 are awkward now. It's normal. Be prepared that u might even lose her as a buddy already. But it's ok, just learn from ur mistake.
If u are in a situation where u meet a girl n u are not too sure how u want to treat her.. then distance urself for time being.. be cordial but not too friendly n buddy with her. Very important.
But at the end of the day, if u feel u must tell her.. then tell her. For regret is an even more painful feeling.
So take heart.. no prob. Give her some time n space.. then come back as frens n see how.. in mean time.. there's the entire freaking forest outside for u to start again

To be honest, it might be very surprising to her... Nobody could hav expected me to love her...as in we're just buddies...we make fun of each other, i joke about her, just like any buddies... never did anything more to show that i like her...Guess its my fault...
Even to others... its quite unbelieveable that i hav feelings for her and i had hide it so well ...Nobody actually knew or noticed...except my best pals -

Those that remains in contact and friendship are those who accepted my rejections gracefully.
Many of them moved on and found their other half.
Those that disappear are the one who wounded their ego.
Sometimes, when we met up in gatherings, they will often try to avoid me or behave very awkward.
As long as you accept that rejections are common during your search for your other half. You will not take it too hard .
She will feel bad about the rejection, only if she knows you didn't take it well.
Nobody likes to be the reason for someone else's agony.
When she knows you have taken the rejection well. She will be OK. -

Gals and guys behave different. Being truthful to gal in such situation has complicated it even more. Infact,it will be better not to be truthfu to her!
U know the result and she hint u many times,why still press forward?
I tell u,yr friendship will be seriously affected. I believe she is a very responsible and good friend. Or else she will not hint u many times as she doesn't want to mislead u. Usually this kind of gal after u confess to her,they will keep a distance from u and yr friendship will never be the same a gain. Only time and yr action of only just be a friend will change it. But it may takes a long time and no gurantee back to normal good old days.. -

The problem is, are u willing to take the risk of having no regret or losing a very best friend for yr lifetime? Especially if she got a bf. SHe will place bf in a higher priority than u. last year april i was faced with the same issue haha
she did say that we can remain as friends as she didnt want to talk about this kind of issue, but she still gave me the told turkey treatment for about 3-4 days before everything is normal again.
oh well last year dec i asked her again and didn't succeed. so yeah.
