I think you have to accept it. It might be a blessing in disguise bcos u might need longer than 2 years to acheive good grades in your O level cert, or at least thats what the school thinks. Ultimately, it'll benefit you better if you use 3 years to get a good O level cert rather than using 2 years to get a bad O level cert. I have friends from normal getting 7 'A's. The O level cert is more important than your status of being normal or express stream, although our society doesnt seem to reflect this.
If you think you can score quality grades for you O level cert in 2 years, mayb u can appeal to your principal. If it fails, then too bad, let this be a lesson learnt for not studying hard enough at end of sec 2.

If you stop making more threads and just go and study, i'm sure you can score a 70% next year. This applies to me too. I got a 49% for my sec 1 MYE, I did not give up and in the end i got a 52% for my end of year sec 1, yea it was still very lousy. But i did not whine, i continued to work hard, I managed to get 66.5% for Mid-year and during term 3, i got 77.6%, it was my best achievement of my life, because i never got that after P1, and in the end, i was qualified for the top class for secondary 3. If me, just a hardcore netizen can do it, why can't you do it? Seriously la, just stop whining and start acting on it. All the best.
