I conclude after observing some of my married classmates.
Some guys like intelligence woman even if they are short, ugly, a-cup.
Also seen many plump couples clicks.
Also as the guys mature, they go less for the looks and stress more on characters.
Note: Well, i am only talking about some guys only.

The boy/girl has to be certain degree of attractive to catch the boy/girls attention in order to start some where...
in my pt of view...i go for girls with character and intelligence... and appearance would be secondary.... but to certain extend...

1st impression counts. But if the pretty gal turns out to the exact opposite of her appearance, I don't think many of my counterparts would continue. Unless its an ONS in the making.
In short, everybody likes the best of both worlds. Most of us are just being pratical to settle for someone we are really comfortable with.
