Like what dcx said, that guy only assumes. Its always a general assumption, taken from books, and i always hear, coke cost 10 cents, but priced at $1, people still drink yada yada, i didnt noe that guy is Coke accounting manager..
People are willing to pay $1 for coke, but which level headed guy is willing pay $300 for aromatheraphy set for which he could get at half the price at PS?
Its pity, they claim they know abt marketing, but its disappointing to see this sort of logic.

Ello coke costs 10 cents but that's the basic cost. The marketing, the adverts, the rest of the engineering efforts bring it up to about 25 cents and more. Please read more. So it's fair they sell at $1.
Now for MLM, same logic applies, but knn they sell at $2 WITHOUT extra expenditure on marketing or advertisements! They claim that the extra is used to pay distributors - for some MLM companies, it's ok, but in others with maintenance or binary matches, it is so much harder like NTI. Guess where the money went to? KNN I dun have to say rite??
Now the worst thing is NTI products can be bought at 1/4 price outside. So sama sama now friend, you come in my MLM company and I sell you one coke at $4 OK? Cos MLM beautiful industry mah! But customers wouldnt want to know that the extra price they pay goes towards distributors. Customers arent charity donors, they want to know they are paying for products, not to people.
Already people complain the justification for low price brought by eliminating marketing intermediaries is negated by the need to increase price to pay the levels of distributors. Distributors are stupid if they tell customers this, and its a big marketing no no.
I would have expect distributors to tell customers that other similar products are no up to standard, fake ones, etc etc but its totally blew my mind off when ranters such as iamnotfailurelikeu insist on having the right to charge their customers more when people can get it for half price. -
