i dun noe nething abt this desmond guy... but if there is sumhow a link with nti or with mr jp i cldnt b nething gd wan... if u ask mi mr jp i heard a few things abt him lah... he set up a company b4 in spore and close it down with all the $ from tat company... then he when indo and do the same thing and came back to spore now to set up the so called nti... he has a v bad name for the adults too... its my uncle who told mi tat... he even said he soon will b killed or whack in spore wan... u see even my uncle noes abt him... hear his name only u noe its not sumwan gd... but of coz those idoits in his company thinks he is sum sort of god lah... that he is so helpful and stuf... wahhh... they can even be uni students u noe... can study but canot think properly... got 0% of financial inte... when comes to $ only noe how to kena con n con pple... super sad... on the surface looks gd lah... inside dun noe stupid like wat... dun even noe how to tell wats rite wats wrong... wat can do wat cannot... ah ya... always tok abt them piss mi off only... spoil my day... but at least spoil my day not like them spoil their life!!! i think hor even if the company close down and mr jp run away with all the $ the pple inside is so brainwash tat they will not blame mr jp instead say he got his reasons lor... ??? if tat really happens... gone case lah they all...

NKF lasted twenty odd years and even fought off two or three similar lawsuits before they were brought down to their knees by SPH.

Media, and to lesser extent police and the court, are not a good gauge of good or bad MLM scheme. Many scams are able to escape due to the loopholes in the laws, which i have mentioned many times is the flaw in the MLM Act.
By the way, Durai himself, as reported in the newspapers, were able to get away with it because he swam through the loopholes in the laws. -

Actually, how Singapore legal and police system actually fare, MLMers and non MLMers need to read up more, or go check with the Speaker Corner forum for more insights. -

How you know NTI has many records at CAD?
Anyway, CAD has posted an article last year on their investigation style. They dont really like to reveal to the public, even if the company is at fault. Every area has to be covered before a guilty party is formally charged. Unlike CID, who round up everyone and question thoroughly before they make a formal arrest. -

when someone already reported the case, and just because no one want to be named, resulted such an ugly consequences, then the Government admitted is their wrong to intervene the situation. Exactly, what is going to nti paris as well, until something really happen, then the Government would be alerted, is already too late to blame the Laws and Regulation. What a pity, still happen in our Society. It is interesting to note that from now on, the government agencies will look at "complaints" more carefully and not just brush them aside if they involve "big, well run organisation - eg NKF" after the recent saga.
It is a good opportunity open to all who feel wronged by MLM companies by reporting them to CAD at the information given in the above link.
Of course, there is certain amount of burden for the people who submit the report, but at least CAD is willing to look at each and every complaints. When the number of complaints is high, they have no choice but to come up with an answer - one way or the other.
At least the MLM companies will be "counseled" and do expect them to behave "better" in the near future. -

Ho Ho Ho, their office at some shenton way building beside lau pa sak lor. The building dun even have a name. But u can find them on the 1st and 22nd floor.
