So what if DSAS calls for tighter self regulatons? They still have no jurisdiction over disguised pyramid MLMs who choose not to be a member. The rules on MLM Act governing the industry is clear but many running a disguised pyramid scheme have not been prosecuted. It means nothing if the black sheep are not wiped out. At least in some countries, lawsuits have been levied on MLM companies suspecting of running a pyramid scheme. At least, DSAS is acknowledging that there are problems in the industry. I doubt they could do much to gain the masses confidence and negative perception of the industry.
Has Bel'Air ever applied to be a member of DSAS? I do not know. I would seriously doubt DSAS's credibility if they have been admitted, now or the future, assuming they continue to promote Count or "1+5" recruitment. -

This really depends on how you conduct the bel'air business. Certain Groups are telling people to join as count, which requires 12k investment up front. That was my vision as well, which was why i joined them. However the reality is that they are not concerned whether more and more people are using the product in Singapore or not... they just want people to invest the money so that they themselves can get their big fat bonus...
Thus in my opinion, these guys are running a cleverly disguised pyramid scam... only this one is legal as there is actual product sales involved, since the 12k is not pure investment, but rather its used to buy the products ie you buy 12k worth of products at the company. Technically this is not a "traditional" pyramid scam, so the authorities can't do anything about this.
Be Very Careful of which Bel'air Group you go to.

There are people selling the products, which i feel is useful *took some from my friend and use*.

When my friend invited me to attend all the events, the keep telling me that they are GENERAL looking for GENERAL or "JIANG", who are 100% committed, 100% trust in the group and leader and blah! blah! blah!
Since my friend left he has heard from those still remain that Ronald is telling them that those who left are "WORNG MINDSET" and "POISONOUS TUMOR", he already want to kick them out of his group to save those remain.
Here's the catch some of them was ask to cut 1+5 when both of them were challenging for Duke. At that time, Ronald ask them to cut 1+5 and was telling them that "I can see you really want to be succesful in this biz, in order to be fast 1+5 will help you................."
After they cut 1+5, they suddenly become "WRONG MINDSET" as they cant bring anyone in. My poor friend was 1 of them, now in debt. Like the rest have to think of way to return the money.

Forumers, not trying to feed fuel into the flames or what, but all the above info are true.
What i personally saw during my time there was:
If you can bring in sales volume, they will tolerate you even if you are not 100% cooperative... you skip their training sessions they will still consider you their general, bcos they need you mah...
BUT if you can't produce sales volume, so sorry man you are shit... you go down the pecking order to the substitutes bench, and you better behave yourself
The worse thing i saw was that towards the deadline to hit their sales volume, they like to select the more "cooperative" or "potentially rich" type members and psycho them to do 1+5 investments... yeah they will tell these people that they are the "chosen ones".. the "generals"... the reality is that its VERY hard to recoup the investment because it is not easy to recruit new people... till date i don't think any 1+5 guys made back their money... the lucky ones manage to recruit 1-2 new people, and earned back some money...
the unlucky ones are still stuck with their 5 empty positions.. and a mountain of debts... thw worse thing of course is that they themselves know that its not easy to recruit new people in this "business", and yet they still dare to ask their guys to make the investments.
Absolutely horrible.... you have to see it to believe it gentlemen... I don't know how they can sleep at night and grow so fat!

DSAS main aim to promote ethical selling, and they are not an authority on legality.
I also sometimes see DSAS as a powerful business lobby group, akin to those in the US. The Exclusion Act in 2000 came about thanks to some founding members of DSAS.

so which category does bel'air falls into? Haha... Even if you dun list as "direct sellin...." or "pyramid sel..." I will choose the 2nd one which mean what B'A doing is actually same as pyramid selling as it need huge sum of $$ so called to invest in biz (sucks), and beside every year you need to pay member fee. And at AAA you required to pay again for the member fee too half a year or 1 year which is $700 if not you're not entitled to come for those course or senimar which conducts by Dukes. Even you've paid, as a full timer you need to help up for the duty roaster, sweep, valcum, wipe the floor; wipe the stage, mirror; everythings and even the main door......... Monkeys as above dun need to do, not sure wherethe as they're the ones who paid more than us so dun need to sweat or........... So it free labours!!! As the Ducks claimed cos we will feel as it our home so it our duty do keep our own house clean (lame excuses)!!!! -

About Baldwin, when I was still in as I belong to other Duck group. I thought he was once a very great General whose they claimed on that time. He the one whose recruited alot of people in that why Chris's group exploded then he the one who "help" Ronald to gain his Duck lor. Picked the Ducks Lim Bro to morn class every morn like their chauffeur. Now both of them become Ducks, he no longer an use to them then said his mindset is wrong or recently he didn't bring in anymore or alot of people then said he is wrong. I think all the leaders behave in the same way, those "M" if they see you didn't bring in any people further although you're still active or positive they will abandon you "slowly" in their list cos lately there not results from you, they consider you "slowly" a "failure" or your mindset is wrong if you won't bring in people anymore. Your presence to them is nothing. -
