Strong quake hits off Indonesia's Papua
A quake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale was reported 114 kilometers (70.84 miles) southeast of Biak, in Papua, at a depth of 10 kilometers. The second quake measured 7.1 on the Richter scale, the agency said, and prompted a tsunami warning.
The National Disaster Mitigation Agency's spokesman, Priyadi Kardono, said there were no reports of casualties from the area. Kardono said he was still awaiting updates after the second quake.
BP said that its Tangguh LNG project in Papua was operating normally and was not affected by the quake.

ditzy came up with a theory that the diversion of the Stamford Canal to build Somerset 313 may have played a part.
Honestly, I gotta admit that's not a bad theory. Major diversions could have made the canal less capable of fast drainage and make it more susceptible to clogging.

high tide would be the better culprit -
i only had 1/4of a chang in KL. my friend bought one and try..
it's called Shanghainess Bak Chang... long in shape (not the usual triangle one).. with kong bak and a salted egg... rating : 2/10 blak..!
the kong bak is dry, the salted egg is smashed and the gluttinous rice is soaky..
failed!
they got mei-chye bak chang, i dun even want to think about it, even mei-chye is one of my fav... arghh..
