HmmP ... the owner has entrusted fireice as a mod , so respect his decision , its true sometime fireice is unfair , like not closing racist topics against non chinese group , but when a chinese racist topic is open , it will close immediatly , but other then that she is doing a great job , and she has been so long in here almost 7 yrs , while most of u guys are in here for only 1 or 2 yrs ...
anyway if ur not happy , why not open ur open forum , use ur own money and choose who u wans to take care of ur forum , as u know dis forum , is certainly being watch over by de media and police , and if she doesnt do her job , this forum will come under heavy attack and be force to close . -

Out of respect for the poor couple involved in the NYP issue, who need some space to breath and carry on with live, with the fact that MDA, Police, editor etc are watching the sgforums and for the good of the sgforums. FI had warned in many places NO to distribution of NYP porn. Somebody chose not to read them and insist on posting the link. Sure attract ban by the mod (may or may not be FI).
My guess is as far as FI is concerned, she had given enough warnings, all over the place.
As far as Ashiene is concerned, she is not given any warning, as she did not read up other similar threads/postings on this issue, or chose to ignore them even she had seen them.
Now we have a problem.
Hope that we all reflect on what we had done. Be considerate to the poor couple who need help to carry on with live and to face the society. Do not bring this issue up anymore. Peace to all. -

Yes. I don't think FI did anything wrong in banning someone who don't obey the rules and regulations in SGforum. It's all the benefits of all forumers here.
Not because of 1 person, the forum has to be closed for good.
Regardless whether the penalty is heavy or light. you still guilty of violating the rules.
