i say Rev. Ho reserve the right to sue. so are the other actors that you have mention. what normally happens is the comments are often ignored, but if the plantiff has seen the comments and felt that it is too damaging to her image as a actor, singer etc. she has the power to ask the courts of singapore to issue an injunction to stop the web publications and she thus hold the right to sue for damages.
as for your GF incident, if your GF has not attended CHC, how would our CGLs know her ? is it logical ?
note the last sentence u stated that if my GF has not attended CHC... how would CHC CGLs know her? this is wat i am driving at... wat u r trying to say would be there is no way CHC CGLs would have known my GF since she is not attending CHC... wat i am trying to say is that i personally do nt attend CHC but i noe at LEAST 2 CGLs in CHC... get it? -

I think a larger portion of singapore are in a neutral stand having nothing for or against her even as other religion or free thinker. For instance in this topic we can see alot of ppl are holding quite neutral comments secondly alot of ppl just view and didn't care much perhaps only u are the most hardcore anti-chc.
So what if she is still associated with CHC? I think even if she is associated with PAP, SAF, PUB, CTE, PIE, ORD or even ERP. She had help so many needy throught the profit of her cds, the mentally challenged, elderly, disabled, proverty, children, orphan, bring hope and getting soul saved to Christ. But if this is so your arguement is invalid as there isn't more than half the cgs in chc that buy the cds as a whole for all three album. So far I see. Most of us bought for the same reasons that is to be supportive becoz she is our pastor. Secondly, her song is nice, professionally done, her effort and the song bring hope. Thirdly for the just cause, coz thru her and becoz of her fames she managed to penetrated into Taiwan Hong kong and china where ppl would come for her concert and as she sing her husband preach which in effect many ppl would turn their life to Jesus (not to chc as they are rooted to local church have no direct control by our church.) It is a Just cause that all christians should appreciate. And believe me while ur typing ur mindless sense, she is somewhere singing in evangelistic concert bring new hopes to ppl who never heard of Jesus. In comparision the nobility of what u r doing is futile. Such thing is not the first time done by secular singers. It's been tried by foreign singers too and only a pathetic few Singaporeans would detest it so much out of ignorance and jelousy.

Traditionally, pastors should be men, and this have Scriptural basis. From what we can see here, either CHC made a mistake or HYS made a mistake. Sure, they can claim pastor is only an internal appointment/label, but by saying this, they're misusing the title God has set aside for special people. Even if CHC officially declare that they don't "force" their members to buy HYS CDs, the reality could very well be different. Just like SAF. TSR say no water treatment for CSC, but people (experienced ranger trainers?) still do it, and have been doing it before the tragedy. But not everyone will suay suay kanna, so there'll still be CSC graduates who claim there's no such water treatment.

About HYS....I dunno, it seems she is so sincere, until it looks fake. Talk also like trying to act sincere or well, pure. I just find her weird sometime. Personal opinion though. Then again, who defines what is normal? Humans.

pls, my mum is a pastor, and i am proud of her job. she helps people. your "scriptutal basis" is most prob grade as SERIOUS MIS-INTERPRATION of the bible. It's not serious misinterpretation. The apostle Paul did state that males should run the church. By the way, I'm not discriminating women. They do play an important part in the ministry. And there are many deconess in the ministry. There's nothing wrong with that.
