Just like there're many male prophets, there're also female prophets and teachers, like Deborah in the OT and Priscilla in the NT. There's a book of Esther in the OT, which praises Queen Esther who saved the Jews. And I think she was not even a Jew herself. Confirmation from another faithful Christian friend.
Christians from other more humble churches view CHC as the bad apple among christian community. My friend humbly shook his head when CHC was mentioned and said, "God has eyes to see where all that money should have gone, what good could have come out of those millions in helping the needy."
Looks like people dun go to church there, they are patronizing the profit-making organization which they label as a religious entity which allows them a loop-hole thru tax regislations.
C'mon even your fellow christians in Sg are condemning CHC. -

The skeptic can easily turn the table on you, pointing out the apparent contradiction about not marrying as advised by Paul and the natural union of man and woman as decreed by God. So how are you going to resolve that? And to think Paul was inspired by the Holy Ghost?

This seem an interesting topic to make my veri 1st post, so here goes:
I HAD no problems with pple practising their religion, as long as it doesn't affect mi...
but "they drew 1st blood, not mi" 
I live near CHC, and i muz say they have infested the area....
1. Imagine after a day's work, & u r trying to get home, juz to see tat there is a f**king long queue of pple waiting for the bus, heading to CHC....
2. The traffic jams caused by the buses and cars waiting for pple from CHC.... btw, CHC is located at a heavy T-junction....
3. Kids attending CHC thinking they r almighty and showing u their middle fingers... (realli, not bluffing) Also, kids running ard in the void deck, making it diffcult to walk safely...
4. Guys dun bother to go town area to bio chou-bus, there are plentiful in Jurong West, esp on weekends... all dressed up like going clubbing....
if onli i had a digicam, then i can have proof to show the guys here...

Whatever the reason, they are bad testimonies to non-christians.
Just because they're a church ... yeah maybe we don't find behaviour of that magnitude outside a mosque or temple. Not saying there isn't of course. -
hey, they are new believers lor..........i am sure you can understand NEW believers lor.........haha, anyway, i am also sick of that female pastor discussion. my mum also tells me it is up to each indivisual to decide weather they wanna accept or not......but it would be nice if CHC would do a better job influencing it's members the right way.....btw, icemoon you form what church?
