If you are talking of SQ, the stewardess are all very young. Even those senior ones look young too. Recently I flew back on the US, there is one wearing a greenish uniform (more senior), figure very good and makeup very solid and hair is very well groomed. But can see that not young already so maintained quite well.
If you want to see Auntie Stewardess, should fly UA (United Airlines) , they are all old and wrinkled. Esp those Ang Mo stewardess. And the worst part is that many don't like to serve Asians so you will get poor service.
I think many of the American or European Airlines got strong labour rights, so cannot "force" those older stewardess to resign. -
not to discriminate but when i was on Qantas, the air stewardesses were relli big size.....block the whole aisle
and i have ah peks serving me white wine....... -
if you actually go to Changi Airport frequently, you'll actually realise that most of the air stewardess from European Airlines are actually "mature women".

erm actually i can verify this, i always go airport kia kia *bo liao* at the basement lvl (bus terminal lvl) of terminal 2, is their office.. wah seh... even young one also not as pretty as b4.. old 1 worse.. the onli gd point is their butt very round hehe

to be honest, if u've flown a lot of the euro airlines, their stewardess are auntie auntie one... because they are there to make sure the flight is comfy for the passengers, not there to "sell meat". They are more experienced in what to do, and r able to handle problems better... SIA is only one of a few airlines which insist its stewardess must be young n pretty one. SIA don't know where to place their emphasis... on looks instead of good service... duh.
