  Yep the bags are cheaper in Italy and often have big discounts there! Plus, you can claim tax refunds as well... unlike here you got GST! =P

  but are the bags relli so nice???
  
  some of the designs like fark.....but bcos of the LV cloned all over it.....ppl flock to buy it......
  
  i like branded......but i make sure the design is nice......
  and preferably the brand label at some inconspicuous corner......or at least not cloned all over.....

  expensive bags like LV, Gucci, Ferragamo normally comes with better quality. design is a matter of taste. but quality of the material, sewing, is definitely there.

  peer pressure? how strong is it? seems like its quite strong. maybe mixing with the executives, raffles and first class people makes them want to own such things. think so? or from their peers and seniors?

  Approximately $3k+ with SQ.. depending on where

  wow.. i can never afford any branded stuff sia. the most branded thing I ever will buy is a pierre cardin wallet and my trusty JPG waist pouch from sec sch. my pay only slightly more than 1k. if i buy branded still must save up then can afford.

  their pay are nt high, but their allowances do...can much higher than their pay depending on where they are assign to.

  This is what i know... when you are a junior staff, chances of you assigned to flights to NY etc are much lower ... So my guess is, it's more of the peer pressure and the need to be out there to look good (dress well to impress)etc that influence them to spend on such stuff ... Air stewardess are indeed waitresses, but they are waitresses who usually think a whole world about themselves... maybe it's the need to always be presentable in the job that made more impressionable (like an accountant is usually so calculative?)... or it's just plainly bimbo instincts for some? Nevertheless, I'm sure there are always humble discipline ones out there....
  
  however i must agree... the Emirates stewardess are so PRETTY .... flawless complexion, sharp features and the poise... if you think SQ stewardess are the best... you have not seen Emirates... at the very least, their smile looks real ....

  Air stewardess depending on airlines got 'life expectancy' hahahaha..... Some is you must not give birth baby before or you must be within certain age range etc. It really depends. And let's say if too old cannot fly relegated to ground duties I wonder the pay structure for them is still the same?
  
  I notice BA employ quite matronly mature air stewardesses hahahaha... see them I feel like see my mother at home hahahahah..... I guess BA clientele are those old or mature male or family audience.
  
  PS I need not take those plane flight to see their stewardess. Juz hang ard Changi Airport when plane landed you can see each airlines air stewardess for free liao
