think the price is quite good now, its like 65K and 59K for the elegance and comfort respectively. i got mine at a whopping 72K

for me the time from booking to delivery took about 1 month.
some of the guys here can recommend some good sales rep if you do not have one in mind. -

the FC abt 14km/L
at 98bhp it has the most powerful 1.4L engine in the market
suspension is tight good for city driving but cannot manage big humps very well.
high speed cornering is a bit challenging due to the suspensions but can improve thru mod
steering is highly assisted some may not like, it is drive-by-wire electronic steering and throttle, assistance based on speed of car
the look, either you hate it or love it, both are extremes, it won the 2002 car designers award held in Paris car show though
the higher end model has many bells and whistles like 6 air bags, auto head light, speed sensing wiper, some trims and body kit, keyless entry and ignition
standards are ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, SRS, plasmacluster air con, many clever compartments, etc
So if you get a 2nd hand March (that is with all luxurious stuff in) which is cheaper n better as i saw a few in the ubi car mart.....

i am no economy expert but buying a car in singapore does not make economy sense at all in the first place. and if our perceived "values" are what most typical sporeans' values are, ie, big space, fierce look, racing engine all for low costs, then the more choosing the Marches is not being sensible.
if you can overcome the above, for the price of the marches, you are rewarded abundantly in the "values" some of us here deemed more important than the above mentioned. such as the super "cute" look you were after, the head turning and limelighted experience, the feel good factor, the award winning design, driving zippiness, reasonable fuel consumption, many bells and whistles, the wonderful marchies community (some of us call this cult group) behind you etc etc... some of these you cannot even experience thru owning many more expensive or bigger cars which in my opinion, are souless.
the marches have been on the road for a few years now, i would like to advise potential buyers to check out other makes and newer models that are available today. only you can convince yourself that the march is right for you.
for me i took months researching and yet feelings overcame my logic, the power at the dark side was too strong to resist......(just kidding you)....
anyway, i took months researching and found out that the nissan march kicks asses within the super minis class, hands down.

how about visit some parks and convoy around spore? heard one or two is haunted one? i know of one in kent ridge park, very nice, got this somewhat like a sky bridge thing. -
Kam is there an apartment known the The Peak... very expensive and quite place. heard of it but never visited that place b4

I am new to the forum, but owned an Opal Lavender March (comfort version) since Jan 2005 and have been loving every moment since!!
Hope to join you all for your outings soon and exchange some tips etc.
Have been reading through the forum and I actually experienced the same power steering problem.
I took possession of the car and within 1 month, one day while driving, the power steering became ultra heavy and the PS light came on!!
Gave me a fright, but after restarting the car, it went off, but came back again, so, i took it into the service center. Next thingy i know, they change the PS box also and the problem never recurred eversince.
They also adjusted my steering, so that it isn't super ultra light. I got used to it after a while as I can feel the road more!! -

yes cafe 100 is in selegie, the map is here
