Besides I am not familiar with the roads in Malaysia, wrong instructions will cause a convoy accident with other road users. This is a serious matter, i treat it with respect... and convoying have to be coordinated and rules are meant to be followed. I am no one to make decisions Â…even i am at the backseat. for elegance model, you get the:
a. Intelligent key fob
b. a weird looking L shaped (typical mechanical) key that you can hide in the I key fob, just in case your I key runs out of battery (see pics), and
c. another standard mechanical (bigger) key
so you are very well covered.
but dont be so stupid like me -
once while returning from malaysia to singapore, i swapped car with my wife and left the R&R along the NS highway. i drove off in another car while leaving the March with her (the March's engine was cut off).
only after 15 minutes of high speed driving that she called me, THE I KEY WAS STILL IN MY POCKET!!!!! OMG!!!! O.....M.......G!!!!!!!!!!

just drive straight after the second causeway for about 10 mins (depending how fast you drive). exit at 312D (the second exit), then drive straight for 5 mins, exit left at the next junction. find the petronas station and the friends house is there. very easy if you've been there before.
still recommend to go together.
actually the distance to clear carbon is very short only. unless you guys wanna go elsewhere to chiong. -

c. meet a friend who's got a nice house there

e. drive around, chiong car, bribe TP
f. check out some attractions (waterfall, swim, see nature etc)

j. return spore at night

guys, our beloved IDYTEH requests the pleasure of the Marchies to share her joy and to join up a convoy on her wedding day.
after getting over the heart broken bit, I gladly accepted it, considering we get invited to her dinner at the Fullerton as show of appreciation.
the tentative plan consists of driving as a convoy together with her 2 Marches on a friday evening (like 6.30 to 7pm). then park together at the fullerton car park, follow by dinner.
the catch is, the date is somewhere Feb next year!

last saturday the Marchies was represented by our dear SAJ and TOADIE at the Traffic Police - Singapore Car Clubs meetup at the TP Headquarter.
the main aim was to get to know each other and promote safe driving. we shall let them update you guys and share the messages here later on.
there were many clubs that attended including friends from NEC, honda club, kangoo, harley davidson, peugeot, alfa romeo, lancer and Getz club etc etc. and also some pictures of the event were taken.
the TP sent an after-event email to us here:

2. This is the first move and we hope that all clubs will

I am still kicking alive....Have been rather inactive these days since the Lexus kissed the back of my Marchie.... My Marchie will never be the same again....The unbelievable low COE price also dampen my mood these days..
Am driving to KL tomorrow and returning on Sat night so will have to miss the driveaway to JB....Wish the driveaway was on any other Saturdays.
Since my last update, my fuel economy has worsen....From as high as 14km/ltr to about 12km/ltr now even though 80% of my trip is spent on the highway these days. Just changed my engine oil at the 10k mark. Now I have achieved 15k mark in terms of mileage so maybe I will change my engine oil and now and not wait for the 20k mark.
I have fixed up both of my remote-control Marchie car which I bought in HK last month....Will be going there again in early Nov. If anyone is interested to buy the self-assembled Marchie, let me know. It is available in 2 colours only: Citron Yellow and Kiwi Green.

In all fairness bad drivers can be found anywhere and anytime especially in our lil island, their 'crime' seemed to be the very common road hogging, tailgating, straddling between lanes, speeding up when you signal to filter lanes and the list goes on and it is not limited to any particular type of car model or even vehicle (trucks and buses). But to show the middle finger...
Obviously you are very sure that its a K12 (new nissan march) and not the older version thats why you come here to release your frustration. Believe me I have similar experiences with other car types as well EVERYDAY, hogging the road but minus the middle finger. Anyway we do not have 100% of the K12 in here and would say the chances of finding the person or getting your msg across to that fella is relatively slim.
But i am sure if we practise some road manners and exercise some sense, our roads will be more pleasant to drive on. -
