anyone install reverse sensor on ur march?? do u think it is necessary?? heh still 2 minds about installing it.. actually made up my mind already, but when i went to nissan today, they kinda screw up my appt time.. soo... n the mechanic said if i install reverse sensor i might be confuse with the reverse gear sound.. hmm

I did not install the reverse sensor. Because I thought it was un-necessary. Not because I'll be confused by the reverse gear sound. Just install it at any car accessories shop. Best to install those with 4nos of sensors.
No matter how small a car is, a sensor is always a good helper during reverse parking. -

I can't live without reverse sensors. As small as the car is, the reverse sensors allow me to concentrate on the sides while the sensor has got my back covered. Reverse sensors are usually given as a freebie. But if you didn't get it when you signed the purchase form, it's too late now...

jus bang my the corner of my car into the car park pillar =((((((( a dent and paint scrape off... anyone know of any reliable place i can knock out the dent n do a spray??
or shld i go back to ad??

i went back tc that time with a dent and 2 1 foot long paint scrape off at my driver sit door was about $400+ near $500. i think out there should be cheaper but just worry that the tone will be abit off.Originally posted by chewbacca80:Hey ppl!

I have not fixed the dents or scratches on any of my cars before, because I think the cost is not worth the benefit. Dents I usually try to knock out myself. The March steel is thin and so you'll be surprised how easy it is to knock/push out the dent yourself. It won't be perfect but you should be able to get it out more than 50%.
For big scratches, you should get a small can of paint from the dealer. Toyota used to give them free (if you bring your own can). Now they sell a small can for $10. TC should also be able to provide some paint if you bring your own small can. As it is paint, the can must be made of metal, not plastic.
My wife caused some scratches, and went to the Ubi service center. The nice people over there touched up the scratches FOC. So you can try this too. Have your gf/wife do it - may get better response... -

i oso scratched my right rear bumper. chunk of paint rubbed off due to abrasion wif some stupid lamp(think roughly 6cmx4cm). no dents, but still damn sian(3 months old nia).
went my father's fren shop n was quoted 80 fr partial respray, and 130 for entire bumper. told by e uncle nt to do a partial spray work as color will fade wif daily exposure to sunlight within 1 yr. not wanting to spent money for a jo thats nt lasting, decided to take some paint and paint myself.
dun ever use a paintbrush or anything thick for e matter to touch-up ur car. Will end up looking like permament birdpoo :s. -

I dun think the PIs are bringing March anymore. The current March was launched in 2002-03, and back then... there were PI March. But not anymore.
Much is probably due to the relative smaller market appeal of the March as compared to Swift and Fit. -

how much better is the E compared to the regular ... i am planning to get one for my wife ... thanks March seems to be kind of on the high priced range compared to engine size and performance .... but i guess it appeals to ladies ... -
There's E and there's C. Elegant(Expensive) or Comfort (Cheaper).
E boasts more equipment, such as ion cluster, auto climate control, keyless ignition, larger rims.
Performance wise, they are basically the same model. And to the unguided eye, will look the same.
If it's meant for your wife, I think C is sufficient. If you have extra 5k lying around that needs to be spent, then go for E. -

Yes, exactly. Put into perspective, the Elegance is over 10% more expensive than the Comfort! Not really worth the money in my opinion. Congrats! It's a great car that's highly under-rated by people. My main advice, as I've mentioned in this forum before, is that other drivers assume the March is a slow car driven by girly girls. They overtake aggressively when they see you, if they see you. So you may want to consider getting a loud Stebel Magnum horn, and brighter Philips headlight bulbs.Originally posted by dingdobel:Hello everyone,

I am in love with this cute little beauty. Best car for my money.
Fuel consumption is at worst 13km/l on heavy footing days, and occassionally 14km/l when I am in a Zen mood for a week.
The engine and suspension are very smooth till now. No problem what so ever. The air con is also freezing cold at times, especially when cruising on the AYE at high speed.
No regret after owning this car for half a year. I don't think the price is high compared to other budget cars because the cute and unique design alone is worth it, of course the interior fittings and instruments are top class for a budget class car!
The keyless entry in 'E' is definately well worth the $5000 additional over the 'C' model. Especially so for me, with both hands full of shopping bags, the keyless entry is godsent innovation in any car. -
