BTW, I have bought Shell Helix Ultra (5W-40) for my Car. Hoping to use it for my 10,000kim services. Is it ok to use that for our car? Seems to be the best of all Shell Synthetic oil. -
The r-vit I have seen installed takes the power directly fromt he OBCII plug(located inside the flap at your right knee area). It will read the RPM from the computer and also water temp and other 'useless' reading.
No need to plug power source from the cigrette lighter.
Very convenient. Cost <$600. Its definately a worthwhile buy.
Those individual circular will not be very 'nice' on a colourful marchie.
Just spend some money and get the biltz r-vit....no regrets. -

There are 2 other Marchies in my condo - Cote Dazur. One fully dressed up in Nismo goodies, and another AirBlue March. Anyone in the forum lives here too?

That sounds like saying if there is anything which gone wrong with the engine, they are not responsible as the engine oil is supplied by you. -

I was going through the forum and some of our forefathers bought their own engine oil to save money. Therefore, I also bought one, in hope to save some money. Looks like I may have spent more...

Coming out of leftfield... I just did my 20k servicing at Autosaver, rather then head back to TC.
Factors that influenced my decision
1. Cost, saved more than $100
2. Time, was able to get my ride for servicing immediately, did not require prior appt.
3. Compatibility, Autosaver uses genuine Nissan parts, that's their branding. So there's not much risk there.
The really big factor that influenced me was the cost. Overall, I was quite pleased with their standard of work. -

What did Autosaver charge for 20k service? Just got a call back from TC, and was informed that 20k service is $250 if we bring our own oil (if add their oil, add $80). My experience is that TC is quite flexible about appointments. Hi, i too go to autosaver as i can also watch and see how my car is cleaned and true that they use genuine parts to repair or change the parts.......i mostly go to the KB outlet as the guys r more ready to help as i had my car suddenly stalled in the middle of the highway due to a leak of the fuelline n was towed to the outlet by 914pm with my son, and i called one of the outlet guys and he came back on his motobike and open the garage n parked in my car !!! by 930pm!!! no tech/repair man will do this even dead of the night !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is wht i call service and no charge !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Originally posted by Si Geena:Coming out of leftfield...
