  hi everyone...just discovered this forum...i m from kl n my gf has a mitusoka cute...its basically a rebadged k12...the problem is we hav a serious lack of info on this car as its very rare in msia...even worse is the owner's manual is in japanese...when it comes 2 servicing n parts replacement, i dun even know what specs r the parts...eg. spark plugs, ATF, etc...the service centre here sucks as they duno anything bout this rare car...need ur help on some info on our 1.4 AT k12....wat are the following 4 our car?

  From our manual:
  
  Spark plugs = LFR5AP-11 (standard), LFR4AP-11, LFR6AP-11
  Spark plug gap = 1 - 1.1 mm
  
  ATF = Nissan ATF Matic Fluid D (or DEXRON III/MERCON Auto Trans Fluid)
  
  You should get a car manual as it has key info. Also you might consider getting your car serviced at least once here in SG at Autosaver, then you can ask the mechanics ALL your questions.
  
  The March is quite popular here in SG, and parts are fairly easy to get.

  I had seen that Tan Chong Malaysia is also bringing in the K12. How about getting the Mitsuoka serviced by Tan Chong? at the same time, ask all your questions?

  Going for my 5K servicing soon....anybody know what they will check?? i also have a problem which is that when there are people sitting behind, i will have this strange sound whenever i move. any body have this same problem??

  Why don't you ask them about it and see what they'll tell you?
  
  My guess is the suspension... The stock suspension is very soft... I always have heartache when climbing humps.

  i am also thinking what you say.....actually i did call TC and they say ,maybe the chair not securely fitted den ask we when come servicing tell them but i dun think the problem lies with the seats.

  TC service is quite decent. The 5K and 10K service is when you should bring up ALL your complaints as they are trying to keep you coming as a customer for servicing. I got my aircon compressor replaced because it didn't sound right.

  hahahaha, must write it all down, i serviced my k11 and my k12 but they were none too happy as the both nissan was PI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! siazzzzzzzzz

  thanks 4 ur help...but i noticed the ATF dipstick says Nissan Matic J only....anyway i have changed it according to the label...n using caltex ATF-J now which is equivalent 2 nissan matic J....the caltex ATF also meets DEXRON III requirements n some others which i 4got...thanks lots anyway...
  
  btw where can i get a copy of the english version of the manual??...mine comes with japanese one....hahahah...
  
  anyway here is how mitsuoka cute looks like...but the rims r aftermarket though...cheers

  Mitsuoka is not a performance tuner. All they do is change the appearance of the base cars. So I would suspect that the internals and mechanicals are unchanged. However, all of the cars would be JDM spec, which may explain the different ATF used.

  Hi bro... Your gf's car is a rare Mitsuoka. There's two version made by Autech Japan which the Mitsuoka Cute is based on, which also produces/tune the March 12SR.

  Nice paintwork on the March, though I wouldn't put it on my car. The March already comes with very interesting colors that are not available on other cars. I remember they even brought in a chocolate color previously.
  
  Autobahn has some very interesting cars. It's a good business model too since the cars are still owned by their owners, who leave it at Autobahn hoping to sell it. So there is no inventory cost for the dealership. I asked a salesman there once what car he drives, and he gave me a funny look. "I don't own a car but I can drive any of these cars anytime I want..." Nice job.

  Sure, it's a plus minus thing.
