Top Speed poll - what is the fastest that you've pushed your March on the road e.g. North South Highway?
Me personally I haven't pushed mine beyond 110km/h. Haven't had a chance to push on the NS Highway yet...

I met her 3 wks agao . It was a lady , she painted her own march. Gave her our website and she would probbaly log on one day. Autobahn has some very interesting cars. It's a good business model too since the cars are still owned by their owners, who leave it at Autobahn hoping to sell it. So there is no inventory cost for the dealership. I asked a salesman there once what car he drives, and he gave me a funny look. "I don't own a car but I can drive any of these cars anytime I want..." Nice job. -

It gets very noisy for mine at 115, so I've not pushed it that fast before and also, the suspension of the March is also very soft, so it feels mushy. -
i'm on rsr spring front/back, imo must lower if u wan 2 go fast. noise dont really bothers me as i m using aftermkt exhuast box. so tyre noise also relative..for tyres i'm more concerned how good is the wet rating

with my current springs, the car is very stable even at 140-170km, only lacking dat it takes time to build up from 150 to 170..if u r on a downslope, it helps alot too.

That's a high speed for any car. My car is full stock, even the skinny 14" tyres. So I don't dare go that fast. Even if can go so fast, maybe cannot brake fast enough!
Did you do any performance enhancement? With 97hp, and all your sports kit and big tyres, the power is rather lacking right?

hi, i'm on 15" rims, remus box, rsr springs. rest is stk. brake is sufficient in the sense dat u r not racing, the pads wont burn/lock up so easily..the k12 is abt 1Ton, so the pick-up/overtaking is more than enuff for me if u can fully utilise the auto-gear box..for me, top speed is relative to the car u drive. i had a 94' lancer 1.6manual wif similar mods, top speed was 220km with 2 pax. thus i always believe u shud setup yr suspension 1st if u want to go fast

as mentioned above, i went for my servicing today....told them all my problems and then.............. one of the problem is when people sitting behind there will be strange noise, they say checked and verify le....BUT!!! in the paper they put no noise.......so i told tthat guy who drove out my car again about the problem,den he say dun know....he say go find advisor......how i know who is the advisor......den when jus now pple sitting behind, the noise came again.....haiz......tmr must go down again..... so lousy one mehz?? is it because is free 5K service?Originally posted by wannamarchy:Going for my 5K servicing soon....anybody know what they will check?? i also have a problem which is that when there are people sitting behind, i will have this strange sound whenever i move. any body have this same problem??

What kind of sound is it? Is it a knock sound when over humps? If so should be normal due to the suspension springs touching the bump stopper when the springs compress upwards. This will happen when u have two adults behind. Also, one good way to let the guys at TC know the noise is to test the car with them and inform them when the sound appears so they can know whether it is abnormal anot... Your Service Advisor is the person who took the car from you, walked you to your car to find out what's wrong if anything, and got you to sign the service form. His name is also on the detailed receipt you got when you picked up your car. If you still don't know who your advisor is, just call up TC and they can tell you from the computer, along with his handphone number.
The only thing that changes when you have passengers at the back is the back springs are compressed more. The sound likely means that the suspension is faulty and needs to be replaced. The warranty will take care of the replacement FOC. If it gets worse, you might have stability problems (car wobbly at high speed and while cornering). -

the advisor i met on fri also did not test drive to see where the problem lies at and whenever i ask him question he jus nod head or jus say "yes"(like dun wanna talk).... -
The march k12 is using a cilo chassis.
It is much stiffer that a lot of other Japan k cars. With right handling settings coil overs, F Strut / b brace bars and rims/tyres, it will bring you more joy with your ride. -

Mineral Oils used in your new march
first 1000K by TC
2nd 5000k by TC
10,000k Mineral Oil by TC or options FSO
Progressive engine oil integration to fully sys oil.
Step 1: 1000k /use Mineral to run in.
Step 2: 5000k /Suggestions bring yr own to TC ( semi-sys oil )
Step 3: 10k recommend to use fully sys oil ( shell, caltex, mobil one and etc )
- light oil 0- 30w lesser protection for engine with more performance.
- thinker oil 5-40w more protection for engine but lesser performance

Hi guys...
Anyone can advise me on installing leather seats for my Nissan March? How much for semi leather or fully Leather. -
The sound is usually caused by busted speakers or something touching the speakers (e.g. plastic bag). My Nissan saleslady told me that all the speakers are factory fitted and in fact are the same speakers (which means the Cefiro and March have the same speakers) - don't know how true. TC only fit the Headunit. Warranty matters can be claimed at anytime. You don't need to wait until your next service. -
Jackspeed is the in-house vendor for TC. Mazda uses Tomo. I brought my Vios to get kitted up with full leather at Tomo - cost me $1200 (all seats plus seatback and door panels). There are others but I'm not familiar with them.Originally posted by flotilla:Hi guys...

Their answer is fairly standard among the dealerships. They are hoping the problem goes away with time or you get used to it and won't bring it up. Or it gets worse and you feel paiseh to bring it up later. Just make an appointment with them specifying that it's the audio problem so that they book their audio supplier guy. They might tell you it's normal wear and tear, but you'll have to stand firm that speakers busting up before 6000km is NOT normal.
