the UK spec civic. ahhhh. nice. but the front n rear dun quite gel.
honestly the front is lovely. and then u get to the back and suddenly it seems like they were trying to hard to be clever. its overdetailed and fussy, and doesn't look nice.
if they kept it clean and simple like the front, it would be pretty, and both fron and rear styling would gel as an entity. -
actually the back kind of....like the mercs C coupe (however minor)?
this is just the basic model...w/o mods. imo, its already a looker from the front.
included the pics so that the heat can be reduced n get back to topic proper. -

can any1 talked abt the design (esp the back) of the UK civic? seems like current trend is going into "integrated" (into the bumper) with twin exhaust?
any fair comments will do. -

hmm high side ah? well, someone WAS saying its got the FC of a 1.5 and the power of a 2.0. But thats mutually exclusive isn't it? U step more petrol, u get the power of a 2.0, but FC also of a 2.0. That explains the FC being on the high side
U drive slow slow, like a 1.5, then the Vtec not engaged, of course FC also like 1.5
As for the hybrids, what do u mean? honda only, or all brands? -

and they have a mugen tuned version of it churning out 300bhp..
but i dun think it will pass LTA inspection..

UK gets all the gd stuff?? maybe not...they're getting the so-call gd stuff is bcos of competition in that particular region...esp if u want to compete with their local giants like VW, Ford, Mercs, BMW, Audi (perhaps) and most of the conti brands.
jap. imports like hondas have to perform even more (be it in terms of specs or looks) just to be on-par with the giants. then again...there're supporters of jap imports. so it may only means that the market forces determine what car (in terms of design, specs, emission standards n so on) gets to be launched. -
