hi to those who collected or going to collect your new Fourte
what is the year of manufacture of your car? i just read from LTA letter that it was manufactured in 2008 instead of 2009 as per 'promised' by my SE....
when i called her, she told me this is x-stock.. blar blar blar....
i want to know what is the impact to me and should i accept it as it is or should i insist on what she promised me before?
any advice?

Dont think so.
Verna is out early than avante.
No face-lift of verna out yet.

Cheap cheap. OMV also cheap cheap.
Hmm we shall see the resale value of this Kia in 3-4 years time?
I went to sgcarmart.com and the OMV for the 1.6M version is about $13,000.
Not too bad I would say. This brings the annual depreciation for 10 years usage to around $3500.
Hi everyone, I am interested to buy the forte. I hv some queries? For those who hv started driving the forte, don't mind sharing some info. What is the actual fc? Is it as good as advertised.
i think the Forte looks like a civic from the front, but from the rear it looks like a lancer..
Basically, it's design is copied from the 2 above mentioned models

I looked at the brochure and the average fc stated is around 12km/l for 1.6. But this is an average value and I dun drive it.... so this is just an estimate.

My colleage forte 1.6A EX is getting 12-12.5km/l in FC by manual calculation.
But do take note that base on trip computer calculation,FC is around 13.5-14km/l.
Hi all, went to test drive today. Quite impress with the forte. SE quote me $53999 + Rikecool solar film thrown-in. Told the SE i don't want the leather seat and he give me another $500 discount. Very happy except for the trade-in price of my 2yr-old Altis. Anyway, I told the SE I will go back to him if I can sell my car at a higher price.

Cool...
Make me wanna have a test drive too...No obligations right?
No obligations. My test drive was a short one app. 2km. If I really want to book the car, I tell the SE I want to drive to AYE for a test drive and test the car at 110km/h so as to clear my doubts. Do not go on Sat or Sun as they are rather crowded.
