here's another.. chye por omelette...
beat eggs (not too vigourously)
add dark sauce (not too much coz the chye por is salty) and pepper to taste..
beat a little bit more..
wok must be unreasonably hot.. almost smoking.. add peanut or corn oil.. pour the beaten eggs in..
do NOT press the eggs.. flip them and when cooked, enjoy with porridge -

You know that chai poh omelette? Well, for ALL the times that I've cooked it, it turn out to be a disaster. I think the chai poh bits here are quite big. Looks like the next time, I may need to grind it down. Anyways, I always ended up having to throw it out, after lunch.

put the stuff in an electric chopper in your food processor

Actually you dont always get to see canned preserved stuffs you know because the can itself is already preserving the food.
fake stuffs? these is a myth lah. in modern days all food companies will have to comply to international food standard, or HACCP. If not you think they can export to europe USA and singapore meh.
The biggest concern is actually not the food itself because all canned food have already gone through the sterlization and retorting process. What you should be concern is the chemical they used to in the can? e.g. the internal lacquer system. EU are the leader in this area and internal lacquer of today are mostly PVC, BADGE and BFDGE free.
When opening up a can, just make sure there is no corrosion and you will be save. -
if you are male and hokkien, avoid preserved vegetables.
