I do not wish to pick a quarrel too but how does breaking the rule becomes a "right thing" ? I really don't understand it.. some people may be too strong with their words but they meant well... there are some who also agree that rule should not be broken but can be flexible as hunger may not be a easy to fight.. I know I cannot stand hunger... so do you continue to eat as you board the bus ? You don't right.. you'll be afriad the driver to chase you off isn't it? So the choice of finishing it before board or bringing it into the bus is up to you to make.. supposed you decided to bring in to eat and met me and I told you off or complain to the driver, now you tell me who is at fault. me you or the driver... so there is line of responsibilties here..it is how you are going to excerise it ..Originally posted by hyuuga neji:littering is wrong...

the purpose of having rules is to make sure that people stay within boundaries. there is a rule against eating and drinking in buses. what is there to argue? if you are hungry eat before travelling. it is not other people's problem that you are hungry. no leeway should be given. MRT has rules against it too.
what will happened if one is given leeway. people will start to do it if they think it is all right. and will start arguing when told not to do so. people will say 'why he can i cannot?' there will be many grey areas?
this reasoning applies to all rules. unless you have good mitigating factors otherwise there should not be leeways.
please dont argue for the sake of winning an argument. and kindly refrain from name callings. -
yesterday saw 6 malay aunties sitting at the bus stop eating Gua Zi.they eat liao then jus throw the gua zi on the floor..the dustbin is abt 2metres away.
wanted to take video using my hp..but i think take liao also no use must well dun waste my batt. -
