Having said that, i am strongly opposed to some of the actions taken by the government in the 1980s. Because he is the president of Singapore at that time, i hold him partly responsible.

hm..how possible is it that someone who has lived a life of honour and integrity and dignity for 7 to 8 decades suddenly decides to whitewash all the good that he has accumulated for himself by doing all those? and if he had the inclination for these activities, wont they have been manifested in the 90% of his living time, rather than the last few percent? and has there been such cases in history?Originally posted by hisoka:cos we dun wanna praise a person on monday as the best and more holy person on earth and then on tuesday we see the person raping guys and maiming pple
Yap... He is the most caring President we had so far... there was once this report that he saw a long queue of people in the raining registering their children for school, he sent his man to bring food and drink for them.... it was such a nice gesture of him. He is the one that started the mingle with the people when the Istana is opened to public.... there is so much about him to be written here.. He was the best.. if only the rest could follow his example ... I am really sad to hear of his death .... this is a say holiday for Singapore ... And one more thing, I don't agree to critictise him now that he is gone... he had done nothing wrong.. many stated his power was limited and that is true. I am sure he will excerise his authority for the benefit of Singapore ....Originally posted by I-like-flings(m):another one that was too young to care i suppose?
RIP, he's 1000% better than the current one![]()
