Yes, that is true. Capital punishment should be abolished at all costs. The General Election is coming, and SDP through its chief Dr Chee Soon Juan has disavowed capital punishment, as can be seen from Dr Chee's presence at a symposium on this issue recently. Please vote for them in areas they are contesting. -

In any case, I won't cast my vote for the PAP no matter what kind of "treats" they dangle for me. Maybe the culprit is her mother(no evidence though..) ..somehow i feel that Ah Hao's made a scapegoat by the culprit.....u'll never know.. if it's really her.. i really hope that she gets death sentence!!!!!!!!

Are you willing to hedge everything that Ah Hao is guilty? Even if my own daughter was murdered and the suspect was cleared of any involvement 10 years after his execution, I will still feel sorry for him and his family. Miscarriages of justice are worse than the actual crime itself. the big winners are the media(sell more newspapers) and huang na's mother(big insurance payoff and contributions from public)
i believe the real murderer has gotten away liao...

SINGAPORE: The murder of eight-year-old Huang Na - a case that shocked a nation - will soon be played out in Singapore courts.
75 witnesses are expected to take the stand in a three-week trial of the man accused of killing the girl.
Took Leng How was arrested following a nation-wide search for Huang Na last October.
After the extensive search which stretched to Malaysia, she was later found dead - stuffed in a cardboard box - at Telok Blangah Hill.
Took, a friend of Huang Na 's mother and fellow stallholder at Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre, was charged with the girlÂ’s murder.
Next Tuesday, there'll be a Preliminary Inquiry where the prosecution will present its case, to see if there's sufficient evidence to commit Took for trial.
The trial will then take place over three weeks in the High Court from 11-29 July.
Witnesses will also include some of the stallholders of Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre where Huang Na was believed to have been attacked.

Is a paedophile supposed to have a paedo look? Anyway, a person needs not be a paedophile to molest a small girl. You may ask, then why a non-paedophile chooses to molest a small girl. Well, it's simple. Small girl is so young that she may not dare to scream and has little ability to struggle off the attacker. Besides, even if she struggles or screams, it is so easy for the molestor to finish her off because of her small build. This is what I believe has happened to her.
But of course, what I believe is not the verdict lah. That's why I look forward to the trial to see the outcome. -
