anyway it is what our govt do best - finding ways and means to take money from its citizens.
everything just keeps increasing. but when there arent enough jobs they tell us to accept it and make sacrifices.
but the ministers pay reinstated instead. -

Best solution will be:
- No car ownership for all ppl, regardless of rich or poor.
- Allow only taxi/bus/train(MRT) to be on the road.
Advantages:
- Bring predictable, constant yearly financial income to the operators.
- Less congestion compared to current situation.
- Better utilization of manpower(job creation) and improve environment health.
Diadvantages:
- Lost of revenue to the gov (COE/ERP/Road Tax etc). <= this is one BIG POINT that such suggestion will not go ahead. ... but I believe our gov will be creative and innovative to come out with alternative plans and schemes to recover the lost. -
in the end bicycle needs COE.

1. Raise prices
2. Cut pay
3. Retrench
4. Outsource
5. Increase pay for top management
