SINGNET SERVICES getting worst ...

same here... last year wanted to change to other provider and they give free gift, a Grand Vision 3 in 1, got camera, video recorder and mp3.. so I stupid kana con and sign up. The bloody camera qualities damn bad. I complain and threaten to terminate guess what they say, I got to pay some $ 200 ++ to terminate.. They know we cheap skate mah... so never bother to improve... Singaporeans are paying far too much for a broadband service that is slower than what others are getting overseas. I think the future is Wi-Max...then competing ISPs don't have to kowtow to Singtel for their lousy lines. Hong Kong is talking about have the entire place wireless and with Wi-Max, they claim to offer connection speeds of 100 Mbs!!!!

here in sg only got 3 major service provider...namely, Singnet, Starhub n Pacnet...no matter wat u choose their customer service still sux...
somemore they still dare to say their service is world class

I'm stuck with Singnet another 2 years. It kinda sucks. Damn slow.

Weird. I had nothing but good service from Singnet. Been with them for at least 10 years apart from that time with SCV but their service and connection suked big time and I switched back to Singnet.
I never had any problems with their customer service before and they even follow up a week later to see if I encountered any problems. Btw I'm not a Singtel staff.
Also no problems with connectivity speed. I play World of Warcraft and my latency has been very good even when my friends on Starhub BB and Pacnet suffer from horrendeous lag with latency over 1k, I was running around at around 450.
Yeah, it's true that Starhub have been giving alot of freebies and such but I have never given it much thought because most of the stuff I get free are chucked in a corner anyway, collecting dust. -

i refer to your post dated 9th July 2005 which i have affixed as above for your convenience. With regards to your last paragraph, i would like to enquire if it is possible for me to collect the free stuff which you have chucked away. -
I am a suckr when it comes to getting customer service. I need not have my way but I have to know they heard me.
So I am super pissed when singnet dont reply to my enquires thru email.
I emailed starhub scv to change basic groups (for the second or third time within my short 2 yr's subscription). They replied the next day informing it would be changed for me, but have to be by my cycle date, something i expected of course.
And really got change leh! I think I am migrating to starhub maxonline after my singnet contract ends... in sept. -

I have no problems with my SNBB 256K --> 512K up till now. Contracts end in Sep this year.
If it ain't broken, why fix it? I'm staying with Singtel.....for now....until it's broken. -
