Have your house hang the national flag?

why do people see hanging the national flag as patriotic or siao, nothing better to do? is it wrong being a patriotic? u mean u don't love your country?
the sad truth is that most of them are just plain lazy, bo chup, can't be bother and self centred. they won't do something that won't benefit themselves or get something back in return. unless they are being forced in doing it. typical singaporean attitude.

Yes, I also suspect the 2 blocks of flats at Spooner Rd are Malaysia KTM's property. The blocks are named Kemuning Flat and Melati Flat. Everyone who don't hang the flags has their own reasons not to do so. Our government should not has the restriction on when the flags are allowed to be displayed. Malaysia government allows its citizens to fly its national flag and state flags all time round the year (as from what I have seen in Malaysia). -
too troublesome to hang must take ouit some more... and it hink got lots of regulations like cannot hang clothing in front and alot of crap in the end you actualyl risk alot just ot hang the flag, oh and its an offence to hang the flag after a certain period too, patriotic?

different people have different reasons for not hanging the flag. for me, i'm simply disappointed with this country... i don't think there's a need to hang another country's flag simply cuz you want to show your distaste for this country. and as for being patriotic and still not hanging the flag? i don't buy it...if you truly love something/ someone it will definitely show. so by that statement, we can see how many Singaporeans truly love this country...
