I notice some Malays greet one another with this interesting greeting that sounds like :
Sa la wai lai kom
Is it correct?
I also heard it from the movie Kingdom of Heaven when the Christian King bid the Muslim King goodbye.
Is it ok for a non Muslim to greet this to a Muslim or Malay? -

One of my uncles married a Finn.
Another one married a Chinese - so did my cousin.
Yet another one married a Filipino.
I still get stares and sniggers whenever I date a Chinese girl.
Sheesh.

Saladin is a magnanimous king in that show. Once the Christain surrender and agree to move out he did not break his promise and attack the civilians on the way to the shore. I still remember his words to the Christain. I Am Saladin. His words is the promise. But what we see in the ending? Once they lost, the Englishmen start a campaign Crusades to recruit ppl to back and fight the Saladin again.
Now we are seeing Israel n Palestine in the same state? Their fued last throughout centuries. A nice movie but pity it is not given much publicity in Spore. It seem there are 2 camps in the Christain. One camp that want co-existence with the Muslims while the other aggresive camp wanting war and blood to wipe out their enemy. Still remember the hanging of christain who sneak attack the muslim in the show? That king is true Christain. No side own ppl when they are the provocaters first -
