weilian has improved a lot...trying very hard to overcome his habit of singing with nasal voice...as for derrick, he impressed me the most during the comeback competition...he managed to improve on his vocals and was quite moving...but after that, he went back to his old was of pronunciation...
if weilian wins, he will not be the first visually handicap person to cut an album...Stevie wonder and the late Ray charles wowed the world and entertained us for decades with their music...they have one thing in common, they lack the sense of sight, but have greater sense of hearing than most of us...this makes them so sensitive to sounds and perhaps, makes them better singers...
someone mentioned that weilian is not cut out to be a singer, i think he/she is wrong, he IS cut out to be a singer, but not really a POP IDOL... -
