Aiya. Tekong in my opinion is the worst place and phase of NS life.
I left with about 1yr to clear leave. Really your vocation is all that matters. Those 3mths just suck thumb. -

Did 4 extra months for nothing(okay, except the pay)
Best advice is to go in with an open mindset and everything is smooth-sailing. After all, hell begins only after you finished BMT.

BMT now is so slack, fail IPPT, fail SOC also can POP. somemore NS now reduced to 2 years, in fact 1 year 10 months if u minus your leave, offs, MCs, public holidays etc. plus now 5 days working week.
life just keeps geting better. don't understand why still so many complains. -

So good... Anyway, I served less than that I believe...
MC I think around 2-3 working months, Off for erm... around 2-3 working weeks and Leave as usual, 24 days through-out my stay... That exclude the weekends ba... think I only serve 1.5 yrs...
Anyway, here's a preview for those going in...
The SFT that you will get accustomed to... for at least the BMT period...
