If any of u had done NS in the 70s and 80s, u will cry. Consider yrselves lucky now that society had changed slightly and people are no longer willing to put up with uncivilised treatment outside training. But it will always be there. black sheeps among the masses.

If everything can be charged, why do they have a half-a-thousand page directives. Just wite a simple sentence on 1 single piece of paper" Anything u do or say can be charged". End of the story.......

I'm in one of the Sergeant course and in one of my lecture, we are taught how to behave like a good instructor. But, some of our instructors are behaving the opposite!
Sometimes we all kena knuckle push ups though I thought it's already banned!
Our dorm inspection is worst! Everything is cleaned already, so thry try to find fault with us and look behind the locker instead which is placed by the wall. What they do is to push the locker out a bit and 'feel' the back of the locker and pull out some dust! After that, they pump us 100 push ups!

we cleaned everywhere lor , then this farker came , want to check the room ,then check while we all were in push-up position and took their own sweet time , then they feel from the start of the room to the end of the room..
if they want , this to happen , why not they do it in their own house?
don't dare to pump their own wives/maid if there is dust inside their house??

Bangalas get more pay , better treatment and get covered by MOM.

I ask you lah , to defend your own house , and your own mother give u peanuts in allowance (cannot buy alot of stuffs) and your mom is damn demanding , ask you to serve until you sibei tired , not even a salary , your daddy trains u up and torture you while training..your gf marry foreign ang mohs guys while you serve..and can't even do the things you want.

i got DB for 6 days for misplacing indention form... after i ORD i got a "Very Good" rating... . my overall performace during my service was good. Civil Defence for the win.

So sad. Don't worry friend, as long as you still do your reservist, you will notice the difference between how NSF & NSmen are treated differently. To gals;
No offence to ladies but I dun think u have the position to commend on any of the issue here...cos u never been throu anything in NS culture. What will u do if u r in that position...There could be many reasons behind each incident. Whatever it is reply to a thread like this will only get u flamed.

Come on NS now is much more sin nang than last time. Anyway this case only teaches u one thing: responsiblity. If this kind of small thing u also cannot acheive( report RT on time ), how r going to work in the society??
