in the case of the SAF, the more you fight, the faster you'll sink. the fiercer you hit back, the worse the revenge is.
like i always said : u cannot have any pride in the army UNLESS you are a 3-Star General and above.(Defence Secretary etc.)
u cannot win SAF one, i tell you. even if you are MAJ, how you win? still got countless people at the top can play office politics with you. somemore you still have to watch out for lower-ranking people trying to back-stab you behind.......ren zai jiang hu, shen bu you ji.
seen lots of countless cases before also. the pattern is like :
1) new recruit who POP out of BMT get posted to our camp
2) very fresh, very cool, very tough. think he's god just because he finished BMT.
3) starts getting unfair/harsh treatment from higher ranks.
4) answers back and always complain to OC/2IC.
5) in the end, kenna back-stab all the time and sign extras even for slightest mistakes. believe anot?

yeah lah, another thing to watch out for loh. if your OC/2IC or CO gives you all a "welfare talk" and says things like "Your parents send you to the army, and we'll treat you well and teach you all the skills you need to survive when a war comes" or "Whatever concerns or worries you've, you all can tell me now. Did your officers bully you? Did the specs treat you unfairly? I'll settle it for you all." or something similar, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM.

in our camp, always got such things one. but of course lah, we all wise enough to keep our mouths shut, and it's an unspoken rule that only those who wanna invite trouble will voice out their troubles.
SAF really cannot trust anyone. if you believe/trust in the wrong person, die for sure. best is to be neutral and mind your own business. -

If you feedback to welfare/mindef, you get charged cos you never go through proper channels.
Regulars get the benefits like off, welfare, etc while NSF gets all the shit. Regulars always cover regulars' shit...
I remember that one incident in my camp where the safety officer did not clear the arms before they sent back and there was a chamber explosion... The regulars got fined instead when they could had been demoted and thrown into DB... Just image what will happen if that mistake was made by a NSF???
