Money wise, you will not be compensated much for doing NS. All private employers do not recognise NS as working experience. So if you can't find jobs in gov sectors or gov linked companies, kiss your years in NS as a TOTAL WASTE of time.

I've known my cousin since I was young... I'm sure whether he has an attitude problem or not. He is the kind where by he will take all the shit silently, tolerating NS only because he knows his service is ending soon. He takes all the shit from his incharge and then comes back and consult my father who knows all these stuff inside out. 1. Not everybody enjoys NS
2. Those who do enjoy NS always magically seems to be those with power.
3. The people who don't enjoy NS is because power is being misused.
I've had first-hand accounts of my cousin being FORCED to admit something he didn't do. Through those discussions with my father and cousin, I learnt alot of things about what goes on in there. Mind you, I do talk to my parents for hours. Discussing about stuff, and my father teaching me alot about what I'll face later on. I'm not sure about you.
