anyway, i dont use any firewall, or real time anti virus programs...even though I leave my pc on 24-7 connected to the internet and have p2p programs running.
I have AVG, Spybot & Lavasoft installed... but completely disabled. I just use it when I need it.
Last time wen still using dial up, i used Spybot, Lavasoft and Webroot...cos what one cant pick up, will be picked up by the other. Microsoft one....is a pain in the throat like all its products. -

reformat ur laptop first cos there might still be spyware in it. then go download.com and download spyware doctor and spybot search & destory. then go download lavasoft ad aware. finally install Norton internet security, Anti virus and system works. i'm using all this currently and so far no problem. just stay away from bit torrent and those file sharing web sites.

Erm, just wanted to say, there is nothing wrong with my Laptop in the first place... No Spyware, no virus... I scanned dozens of time with different programs.
